Le logement est globalement agréable : spacieux, bien agencé et plutôt bien entretenu. Les espaces communs sont confortables et conformes aux photos, ce qui a rendu le séjour plutôt agréable sur plusieurs aspects. En revanche, nous avons été très désagréablement surpris par le fait que l'annonce indique une capacité de 12 personnes alors qu'en réalité seuls 8 couchages peuvent être considérés comme de vrais lits confortables. Les 4 couchages supplémentaires disposaient d'une literie très vétuste (mousse fine de canapé lit) et sans ligne de lit, ce qui est problématique pour un logement présenté pour 12 voyageurs. Nous regrettons également le manque de chaleur et de conviavilité de la propriétaire, nous ne nous sommes pas sentis particulièrement accueillis ni mis à l'aise pendant le séjour (observé par le propriétaire habitant la maison voisine).

A solid house good for exploring Pays D'Auge

The house is well built and has excellent windows and electronic shutters. In the heatwave we managed to keep cool enough by arranging air to come in through open windows, but keeping shutters almost closed. There is no air con and there are no electric fans.The bedrooms are big enough and the beds comfortable. There is plenty of space to park. There is plenty of dining space inside and out. Food shops and supermarket are within about five minutes' drive. The property is reasonably near a main road but there is only a whisper of traffic noise. When you check in please ensure you have written proof of payment if you have pre-paid for the cleaning as the owner wanted to take payment for this on arrival. We needed to show her the paperwork as proof we had paid. She also required us to sign an inventory of everything in the house. I think this was in case we broke anything and would be required to pay for it. The owner speaks very little English but her son speaks basic English well. The owner lives next door and was helpful in providing us with additional things we needed fort cooking (oven gloves etc) and also gave us two bottles of home made cider which were excellent. The kitchen is oddly equipped with mismatched older crockery and pans but we managed. The 'American style' fridge freezer is a marvel and produces ice cubes on tap. One additional thing UK renters might need to know is that 'linen provided' does not include towels as most accommodation does in the UK. We spent our week explaoring the coast and the countryside. The area on the coast is rich in WW2 historical sites and museums and in the countryside there are attractive villages with typical local architecture..

Maison très propre et bien équipée, les propriétaires sont très gentils, chaleureux, et sont disponibles pour tout besoin. La commune est à moins de 20 minutes en voiture des belles plages et des grandes villes à visiter. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison. Famille Bui et amis

réunion de famille en Normandie

Le gîte correspond bien à l'annonce. Il est très bien agencé et rien ne manque pour cuisiner et s'amuser (ping pong entre autres). L'hôtesse est très disponible et très réactive lorsque nous lui posons des questions pdt le séjour. Emplacement calme. Parking facile. Wifi ok. Proximité de Houlgate et Cabourg appréciée.

Très agréable

Maison très agréable, bien équipée et confortable, intérieur comme extérieur avec jardin spacieux. Très bon accueil également de Véronique. Nous recommandons cette location idéalement située pour visiter la côte et profiter de la plage, visiter les sites du Débarquement ainsi que le pays d'Auge. Nous recommandons !
