We selected this hotel because it was close to Globe Life Field for the evening ball game. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. sharp to check in only to find out that their system was down and no one could get access to their rooms. An hour later they finally began to check people in meanwhile the gates had already opened a Globe Life Field. Our check-in request for two extra pillows that we filled out online in our pre check in was not followed so we had to wait additional time to get those pillows and take them to our room ourself. The balcony door would not open, so we called the front desk to ask for maintenance. We were told that maintenance was not available and that there was nothing they would do to accommodate us. We asked to speak to the manager, we were told the manager was not available. We asked for the managers name in order to reference it and for what time he or she would be available. We were told by the receptionist that she was not able to give us the manager's name, nor would she be able to tell us what time the next morning he would be on duty. She then placed us on a very long hold we finally wound up hanging up and recalling the front desk this time recording the conversation and making her aware of it as well. She once again said she could not tell us the manager's name nor when he worked nor would she even provide us with her own name. This was beyond suspicious and made us feel very unsafe. We reached out to Expedia, and they said they would flag the hotel.
