The hotel was outstanding. The only problem my room heating A/C system was operating noisy causing interrupted sleep. I reported this to the hotel receptionist. He said someone would check it. Moving all the luggage to another room was not a good option. I used earplugs. Your hotel overall is exceptional. Why do operate a noisy and popping heating A/C system?

I had a very poor experience at Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Addison Quorum. We booked this hotel about six months in advance for a business trip, with a confirmed and prepaid reservation through Expedia, from Tuesday to Saturday. A major conference was taking place at the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel across the street, which is why this location was critical. As I was about to take an Uber from the airport, I received an email saying we had been relocated to another hotel farther away. I went directly to the Courtyard to speak with the General Manager. I was told the rooms were suddenly out of service and that nothing could be done. During the ride to the alternate hotel, the manager stated that non-Marriott members can be bumped, even with a long-standing confirmed reservation. Because the new hotel was not walkable to the conference and the area is not pedestrian friendly, we were forced to rent a car, resulting in $540 in additional expenses. At the conference, multiple attendees told us they had been overbooked at the Renaissance and relocated to this Courtyard. None of them were Marriott members, which strongly suggests early, lower-rate bookings were displaced to accommodate higher-rate conference guests. Marriott covered two nights at a Holiday Inn Express and discounted the remaining stay, but this did not come close to offsetting the inconvenience and added costs. The staff was very kind and the room clean. There was no water pressure in the tub or shower. The sink was partially backed up and drained extremely slow. On the last night the toilet ran all night.
