"The 105 steps"
Dalat is an attractive city and the hotel is a major landmark sited on the city's main lake. Yes there is the constant problem as in all of Vietnam, of crossing the road. Everithing about the hotel is superior. Our airport transfer worked well and thereafter the service was faultless. We had booked a lake view balcony room which was large and well appointed. Colonial style with clawfoot bath and old style plumbing. Word of caution here: the edge of the bath near the wall is not sealed so untill we got used to the hand held shower fitting a small flood ensued. Housekeeper called - "no problem" everything cleaned up in a trice. Breakfast on the terrace each day was very good.

"Very comfortable hotel. Very central"
The hotel was very clean and very central. The location cones at a cost. It was very close to the roundabout near the lake so was very noisy if the window was open. Hotels in da last do not have air conditioning. Although there was a portable unit in the room. It was mildly effective.

"Very peaceful"
Hotel setting is lovely and staff very pleasant. Quite a long walk to town especially if raining or hot. Would be a good hotel for children to stay in as gardens would give them some space to run around in.

    Accommodation In Da Lat

Imagine rich, rolling hills draped in early morning fog with farmers working the picturesque land. With such beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate it is no surprise the French colonists decided to make Dalat one of their favourite South East Asian retreats. Today it is just as captivating and we can offer you a Dalat hotel to experience this part of Vietnam first hand.

Dalat has its fair share of attractions but arguably its greatest lure is the serene atmosphere it boasts which is the total opposite to the hectic streets of Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. It's a haven for trendy young Vietnamese artists, honeymooning couples, tourists and plenty of Vietnamese looking for an escape from city life. At 1500 metres above sea level it is perfectly situated for thriving agriculture. Tomatoes, strawberries, flowers, tea, coffee and even grapes are all cultivated here. Wine is also produced but it's only worth trying once, and we really mean that! Simply being part of this relaxed environment, whether in town or the surrounding countryside, is worth the visit alone but if you are looking for something more to do then read on.

From our Dalat hotels, it's worth seeking out the Crazy House. No, this isn't a lunatic asylum, but it seems to have been designed by a lunatic. Resembling some kind of termites nest from the outside, the inside is full of bizarrely linked ramps and steps which make for an entertaining attraction. For a less strange way to spend an afternoon head to Xuan Huong Lake. Hire a small boat and drift around the calm waters peacefully. A walk around the lake is also recommended. Further out of town are the Pongour Falls which stretch over 100 metres wide and 30 metres high to create an impressive spectacle worth capturing on your camera.

Take a peek at our hotels in Dalat and see what we can offer you.
