Lovely hote, good staff great value

Lovely hotel, good staff. Good location, quiet. Few facilities in the room and it was very good value. Had Tv. Good quiet night of sleep.

A review from a family

The pool was good. Room was dated and needed re painting, in the toilet part of the wall panelling was off which left the glue exposed and looked messy. Lots of dust in the corners. No kettle or drink facilities in the room which was disappointing. The continental breakfast was a good spread but no facilities to get a drink during the day. Bar not open until the evening at 9pm.

Property was clean except toilet bowl really stained not pleasant. Lots of gnats in the bedrooms and blood splats where many had been killed. Area well maintained but all a little dated, lots of overnight noise and lights going on and off.

Disappointing

One night stay on the way back to Calais for morning crossing. This is a fairly down-market holiday camp. Rooms are small and basic. Beds also small and rather institutional. It reminded us of a care home. Sheets were rough and uncomfortable. There is a very bright floodlight which shines directly into the window all night
