First stay for us at The Lion Hotel. We pulled up in front of the hotel. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Our room was very clean and well stocked with teas/coffee/chocolate. We had toiletries in the bathroom and tissues in the bedroom. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was superb and cooked to order. The views from our breakfast table were so pleasant with the river alongside the hotel. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.
