“The Hideout” is a delightful double-storey family home in Cowes just a short walk from the beach, supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is the open plan Kitchen/Dining room (with 43" smart TV) which leads to Bedroom 1 with BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet). The European Laundry (with washing machine) is up a few steps of the stairs that go to the first floor. Upstairs is the large Living Room (with 50" smart TV & Coonara wood heater) that leads to Bedrooms 2 and 3, a Bathroom (with shower & toilet) and provides access to the rear Balcony.
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered Patio (with gas BBQ and table & chairs for 8 people) as well as the rear semi-covered upstairs Balcony (with seating for 4 people) overlook the enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and pets. The large Garage (with table tennis table, couches and some bikes, skate boards & a scooter - no helmets) provides a great teenagers retreat. There is space to park 3 vehicles (cars and or a boat) in the long driveway. The front Patio (with table & chairs for 4 people) overlooks the front garden which has an outdoor shower, perfect for washing off after the beach.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners; one in the downstairs Dining Room and one in the upstairs Living room, plus three additional stand-alone heaters and three fans which can be used where required. There is a Coonara wood heater in the upstairs Living room (no wood provided).

Linen

What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
