Penguins on Church -800m to Main Street, 120m to beach, 1km to boat ramp

Forget the car. A leisurely 10min stroll takes you to Cowes Main Street and in less than 5 mins you are at one of the quieter Cowes beaches. This house is perfect for a family get together. The large kitchen living area opens up onto an undercover deck via a bifold door.
A seperate games room and large back yard with lawn games keep the kids young and old entertained.
A fully secure backyard in case you wish to bring pets although council rules legislate that a maximum of 2 dogs can be on the property. Pets to remain outdoors, but please advise us in your enquiry if you wish to bring pets. There is a ramp leading to the front door for easy access for roller suitcases and prams. Although the front door is extra wide, bedroom and bathroom doorways are your avarage width

The property had a huge backyard perfect for our poodle to play around. The only problem was that our poodle being a very small dog managed to escape both Friday and Saturday night. Fortunately someone picked him up on the Saturday night and posted in one of the community pages. On the Sunday night we left him in the games room. Other than that,the house was a beautiful home accommodating us all. We had a great time and definitely would stay again knowing that we’d leave our poodle in the games room when we couldn’t take him with us

Great house with everything a family could want and nice and clean. We missed out on getting linen some how so I had to clean out my home linen cupboard at the last minute to bring sheets and towels for everyone. We had thought it was provided. Never mind - we had a great time thanks. The playroom was a bonus!

The house was great, it suited our family gathering. We loved the deck and games room. The house was well stocked with crockery, glasses, etc. Location was good, a short walk to the beach and a nice walk into town.

From the moment we first contacted Stayz, Margaret, the host, was helpful in every way. The 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms were great for we 5 adults a 4 young children. Walking distance to the family beach and main shops meant we weren't constantly loading children into cars. The games room, provided activities and books and great back yard gave lots of opportunity for play for the kids....and big kids. We had a fabulous stay

Second stay at Penguin on Church and it is always a pleasure. Margaret is a very accomodating host and always exceptionally quick to respond with any issues. We stayed with 4 adults and three children (aged 6, 3 and 5 months) and had everything we could possibly need and more. Well equipped kitchen provides everything you need, however due to being so close to Cowes and all the dining options we did eat out a lot. Wonderful beach access. Outdoor shower (with hot water) is a bonus. Ample off-street parking. Good house layout for multiple adults as the bedrooms are in separate wings off the living space.
