Lovely relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house very much. With a great view, not to far from Cotignac, 20 minutes walk, superb swimmingpool and good beds. It was great!

Emplacement exceptionnel

Si nous avons passé de si merveilleuses vacances à Cotignac en dépit d'une canicule épuisante c'est aussi et peut être surtout grâce au charme incomparable de cette maison. A la fois proche du merveilleux village de Cotignac (5 minutes en voiture) elle donne pourtant l'impression d'être seul au monde. La piscine est splendide et la vue époustouflante. Le check-in et le check out se déroulent sans aucun soucis et tout au long de la préparation du séjour, les échanges avec les propriétaires sont cordiaux et pleins de renseignements. Bref, à recommander sans hésiter.

Herrlicher Platz zum Erholen

Wir haben 3 Wochen Sommerurlaub hier gemacht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt sehr schön mit einem tollen Blick ins Tal. Ein sehr großer Pool ist vorhanden. Wir werden die Sonnenuntergänge und den Sternenhimmel von der Terrasse vermissen. Gut geeignet für Familien.

Maison avec beaucoup de charme. Vue exceptionnelle et piscine immense. Emplacement proche du très beau village de Cotignac. Bémol sur l’état de certains équipements fatigués (four, micro-ondes, parasol cassé, douche défectueuse) et la propreté.

Séjour très agréable et reposant en Provence Verte, à découvrir

Très belle maison, bien aménagée et bénéficiant de différentes terrasses utilisables en fonction de l'évolution du soleil, superbe piscine, magnifique point de vue sur Cotignac et ses environs. Un bémol par rapport à la propreté de la maison et notamment de la vaisselle à notre arrivée.

Merveilleux séjour

La Maison d'Isabelle et Pierre est aussi belle que chaleureuse. Ses deux terrasses, sa très belle piscine, sa vue superbe en font un lieu au charme délicieux. Quelle chance d'avoir pareille demeure!

Wonderful old and authentic Provençal house

The house is charming, simple, rustic, and in a great location, 2km from the village and with an outstanding view. It's comfortable and well equipped and the only minor issue is that there wasn't a detailed instruction book explaining how everything worked. There were a few notes on walls and manuals for the dishwasher and washing machine, etc, but those were mostly all in French. Our French is passable, but not that good! The pool is large and inviting and there is plenty of outdoor space. The pool man comes once a week, but -- and this is our only other quibble -- because we were the first renters of the summer and it had been a very rainy Spring, everything was very overgrown. By the time we left after our four week stay, the grass near the pool was as high as the table and chairs on it! Finally, and most importantly (and why I'm giving this stay a 5-star review), when we arrived we had a big problem due to a misunderstanding with the owners. While there was only two of us arriving, we were expecting a guest or two to stay a few nights in the separate guest suite at the bottom of the house. But when we arrived, this was not usable because it was being repaired and repainted. So effectively we had a 2BR, 1BA rental, not the 3BR, 2BA we were expecting, and as advertised. However, when we contacted the owners, who live in Belgium, the matter was resolved by them not only getting the guest room/bathroom finished within 48 hours, but also giving us an extremely generous discount, which was promptly refunded to our VRBO account. They responded with decency, integrity, and class, which meant a lot to us. Thank you, Pierre and Isabel. And we loved your home in Cotignac!

Très beau séjour

Mas très ancien idéalement placé, au calme, avec une piscine géante. La vue tout au long de la journée est un rêve éveillé. Accueil parfait, jolie décoration, très beau terrain tout en restanques, c'était parfait pour une semaine magnifique. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Als wir ankamen und das Haus zunächst nur von aussen sahen, waren wir zunächst skeptisch. Aber innen entpuppte sich das Anwesen als liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack renoviertes und möbliertes Anwesen, in dem vielleicht nicht alles perfekt ist , in dem es aber an nichts fehlt, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Tolle Lage mit Südwestblick über das weite Tal, grosser Pool und kurzer Weg zum Dorf (2 km) für die Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder mieten. Un sejour inoubliable dans une bastide de reve...

Nous avons passe 3 semaines aux Grives et nous sommes enchantes par notre sejour, tout d'abord par la maison une veritable bastide provencale une des plus anciennes maison du vilage renovee avec gout et pleine de charme. Tres appreciable aussi pour recevoir la famille ou les amis une chambre et une salle de bain sont independantes du reste de la maison. L'espace exterieur est tout simplement magnifique les restanques plantees d'oliviers sont typiques d'un jardin provencal, la piscine est immense au sel et non au chlore (un vrai bonheur), profonde ideale pour nager, la vue est exceptionnelle, devant la maison un grand terrain pour jouer aux boules, plusieurs endroits pour manger en fonction du moment de la journee (logia, terrasse, restanque, bord de la piscine...) Et ce que nous avons particulierement apprecie c est qu il n y a absolument aucun vis a vis la maison est fondue dans la nature un vrai bonheur et appel au repos. Le village de Cotignac est une merveille avec ses falaises, pleins de petits commerces et brocantes. Possibilite de faire les courses a proximite. Sans oublier l'accueil tres chaleureux d'Emmy a notre arrivee comme au depart! 3 semaines que nous ne sommes pas prets d'oublier nous recommandons vivement cette location!

Séjour parfait

Superbe maison avec un grand jardin qui offre une vue exceptionnelle. Cette propriété est parfaite pour se reposer et visiter plusieurs points d’intérêts à proximité (Gorges du Vernon, Cotignac, Vallon Sourr). La maison est tellement agréable qu’il faut prévoir quelques jours pour profiter du panorama et de la piscine. Beaucoup de belles randonnées à faire dans la région. http://www.baladeenprovence.com/ . Un des meilleurs rosé de France à 20 km (Domaine Gavoty). Tous les services (boulangerie - 11, Grand Rue -, supermarché) sont à moins de cinq minutes en voiture. Excellent boucher à Entrecasteaux (L’Entrecastelaine). Le wifi fonctionne parfaitement et il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans la cuisine pour se concocter de bons repas à savourer sur la terrasse. De loin nos meilleurs vacances depuis plusieurs années!

Schönes altes Haus mit großem Pool

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Herbstwoche in Cotignac. Das Haus wurde behutsam renoviert und ist stilvoll möbliert. Die Lage ist einmalig, der Blick auf das Tal wunderschön und der Pool auch für Schwimmer groß genug. Die Küche ist gut - wenn auch nicht sehr modern - ausgestattet. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.
