The OC was clean and allowed early check in at no extra cost. This is a motel, not hotel and the pics provided are embellished. This is NOT comparable to a mid star hotel and overpriced for the bar floor, bare bones motel vibe

This is clearly a very old Motel property. But they have done a good job of cleaning it up and modernizing it. The rooms were very clean. The exterior is freshly painted as well, though when you look at it closer, you can see the contractor just painted right over the dry rot. So for the most part, it’s like a bandaid over a mess!! They tried to paint the doors to look nice, but again, with the age, the doors are beat up!! So maybe eventually they will replace the bathroom and entry doors. Staff was excellent and attentive. If you have an event at the OC Fairgrounds like I did, it’s very coincidently located, and well priced.
