Villa Mulino - Completely renovated old mill in Tuscany
Villa Mulino is an old mill that has been completely renovated and transformed into a beautiful country house. It sits in a secluded, tranquil spot. The owner did an excellent job keeping the mill’s original characteristics intact: the stream which once activated the mill blades still runs beside the house today. A part of the living room floor in glass lets you see the water running under the house. The house’s calm and privacy set it apart: lush woods surround the property, guaranteeing peace and quiet. Outside there is an above ground pool, a large garden and an outdoor dining area. Inside, everything is new and modern. The property is 19 km from Cortona (Tuscany) and 21 km from Trestina (Umbria). Access to the house is via a 2 km stretch of unpaved road. At guests’ disposal: heated above ground pool with swimming machine and hydro massage area (6 x 2 meters); enclosed, furnished garden; barbecue and wood burning oven; parking inside the grounds; air conditioning; Wifi internet.

Absolutely perfect. The house is immaculate, a tasteful blend of traditional and contemporary and still eminently functional. The owner should be very proud of what he has created here, he has impeccable taste and his attention to detail to ensure the comfort of his guests is an example to others. He is also an excellent host, charming, warm and genuinely concerned as to your comfort. The garden has to be at least an acre and is absolutely beautiful and not surprisingly well maintained. The pool and jacuzzi combination is a dream, we spent a lot of time in there. We liked this property so much we booked the following week and I cant give a better recommendation than that.

Sofia and Guglielmo are outstanding hosts. Their very positive approach towards guests gave us the feeling like being at home. We very appreciate the local guidance (food, wine, places to see) just to name a few. The location is breathtaking, for those who wants to enjoy the real nature, you will find it here. In the middle of nowhere. The backyard is huge, with a lot of places to relax, have a BBQ or a home made pizza in an outdoor real and grand stone oven. The swimming pool with jacuzzi rocks! The entire property is extraordinary. The garden is very beautifully done. Everything is made with incredible care. The details you notice are brilliant - such as charming taps in various places in the garden or glazing (glass windows in the wall and floor) in the house so you can see the original stone or solutions from the times when there was a functioning mill here. We loved it here and definitely will come back! Thank You Sofia and Guglielmo for the time we spent here!

Viele Grüße!
