Sandbar Bungalow-2 bedroom- Central Location, Near the Beach, & Dog Friendly!

The Sandbar Bungalow is a colorful and welcoming 2-bedroom, 1-bath detached bungalow in the heart of Port Aransas. While it's tucked away in a quiet enclave, it is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and other attractions and is only a few blocks from the beach. Inside, you'll find a bright and spacious living/dining area off of a large kitchen that has what you need to cook the catch of the day. There is a covered deck out front to relax and enjoy the Gulf breezes. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combination. Each bedroom has a king bed and plenty of closet space. In the hall is a laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer. Please bring your preferred laundry detergent.

Outside, you'll find a large patio for enjoying the gulf breezes and a fenced SHARED yard that is shared by the complex for your four-legged friends to use. We've just added a shared breezeway for the complex with covered seating and a game area. It's a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.

This property is DOG friendly. We welcome well trained dogs (no puppies) that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 2 dogs with a total weight under 100 lbs. We charge a $50 pet fee per dog (covers entire stay) and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone. If you are bringing a dog, please message us the breed, age and weight of your dog so we can pre-approve them. Unreported dogs will result in a $200 fee, and may result in immediate eviction without reimbursement for the entire reservation.

Cable television and wireless internet is included with your stay. Any additional cars, boats or trailers will need to be parked on the street.

The Sandbar Bungalow is part of a five-unit property, so additional units can be rented to accommodate larger groups. Please contact us for details or with assistance in booking multiple units.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The whole process from booking to checkout was a breeze. Property management very communicative. The house was very well decorated and had everything we needed. Bedrooms had King size beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. We enjoyed the back breezeway with the cornhole and bbq on Sunday night with our family. We will definitely be back again. Fantastic stay.

Cozy stay with amazing hosts

The home was great for our family with 3 young kids. It was cozy and the right size space for us with basically everything we needed and what we needed to bring with us was effectively communicated in the listing. The location was ideal as well. We were able to walk to the shops, grocery, and even the beach if we weren’t toting a car load of kids. I was especially taken aback with the accommodating and compassionate interactions with our host after one of my kids had to spend most of our stay in the hospital due to a freak accident at the beach. This booking was more than we expected.

Great Getaway

Nice floor plan, cute decor and perfect location! Plenty of linens and kitchen supplied with dishes, even though I didn't cook. Pet friendly and we were able to park a 4 door Ram 2500, golf cart and 10ft trailer in road in front. Great communications!! We plan on returning soon!

A Home for Your Getaway

The beach house was clean, comfortable and relaxing. My family had all the necessities we needed. All we brought was food and clothes. Everything else was provided. Full kitchen, bath and laundry supplies. They even had complimentary dog poop bags for our dogs. It has trees and shade, so we never needed to turn the AC cooler. We also enjoyed the "Pirate Cove" lounge area, which is covered and in the cool shade after a long day at the beach. It was nice to play corn hole and relax at the picnic table with the family, so we didn't have to leave to be entertained. We will definitely stay here again. Parents, kids and even dog o's loved it!
