Wonderful hotel in a great location. The dining room was definitely understaffed on the weekend. To get drinks you had to go to the bar. No table service.

Room was lovely, except for the noise from the street was constant, keeping windows and curtains closed helped muffle the sound. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was tasty. Parking was plentiful and the discount was great. The Pool was not child friendly. Main pool was for people doing laps, the hot tub was not very hot and we were told my teen was not allowed in it. There was a small wading pool suitable for toddlers.

It’s indeed a wonderful trip with my husband . The services provided by the staff especially in the restaurant is Excellent , Ms Kym and other staffs are so well trained , Ms kym and her co teams performances are excellent beyond compared. No matter how small or big crowd in restaurant , Ms Kym shows her composure, professionalism, skills and communication to the highest level . May this trip a bit frustrated related to the rainy conditions , still , the services given By Ms Kym and quick notice of my husband cake for his 70th birthday is really appreciated and I can’t thank you enough for such gesture ! I would love and recommend Clayton hotel to all my friends and family as this is one of the best hotel in cork city Center . The likes of Ms Kym and her co-workers must be valued and kept to the job well done with flying colours !!! Well done Ms Kym and the rest of the staff in the restaurant and also the cleaners of our room during our stay … it’s an honored and pleasure to be served among ye !!thank you very much again , you make our stay enjoyable and worthy !

Lovely hotel and special touch for Easter weekend

Great weekend. Room was big for three of us and they provided a baby cot. Extra special touch when they got in touch with the Easter bunny to make sure all the children in the hotel had an egg hiding in their room

To be honest, the Clayton Hotel surpassed our expectations. The staff were courteous and polite, ever willing to help. The room was spacious and equipped with modern amenities that met our needs. Our room was a nice place of refuge after exploring the City daily. We utilised the swimming pool, which was a hit with the family, who enjoyed daily swims. Overall, our stay was excellent and memorable. When we visit Cork, The Clayton Hotel will be our accommodation of choice. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
