The villa benefits from all-day sunlight and shelter from prevailing northwesterly winds, making it ideal for swimming, relaxing, and dining al fresco.
A rare gem of the property is the large oak tree just 10 meters from the sea, providing natural shade for outdoor dining—thanks to a nearby seasonal stream that nourishes the grounds.

Happy holiday
A lovely comfortable place to stay for a multigenerational family holiday. The Villa was exactly as described in info - next to the sea, with its own small rocky beach, wonderful pool and outside eating/catching up areas. Very helpful owners.

Great early season family holiday
It was very well organised with lots of help getting shopping delivered, despite the supermarket web page not yet set up. Ditto boat hire as we were there just pre season, but boats were launched nonetheless. The villa was excellent for our needs with studio for grandparents and apartments for each of the two young families. Plenty of equipment for catering. Lastly, thanks to Maria and her family, any requests were dealt with immediately.

Heavenly Views and Great Location
The views from this home are exactly as pictured in the listing. It is one of very few homes on the East side of the Island that is on the water, with its own beach access and a large private pool. The home is great for families of all ages - we had two children and an infant stay in the unit comfortably. The set up also allows for multiple families to stay together across the three separate units. Spiros and Maria were great hosts and easy to communicate with, they even arranged our transport and provided a welcome basket of goods waiting for us when we arrived. I would recommend this property to others.

A very special place in Corfu
Our two families - 4 adults, 7 kids - spent a fabulous week at Villa Alexia this half term. The property is quite old fashioned so don’t expect a modern style villa - but that’s how we like it. Facilities wise it has everything families need and is comfortable and cool. But don’t come here for that, come for the location and aspect which is absolutely fantastic. Having our own pool, beach and privacy in such a beautiful setting was magical. And it’s a special place for nature lovers. Lizards, Sardinian Warblers and butterflies by day, Scops owls, bats and moths by night plus loads to see with a snorkel. And the location is brilliant for exploring the north of Corfu - from the countless coves, beaches and tavernas to the mountains. We will be back - thank you Maria, Costos, Spiros for a fabulous stay.

Paradise
"Six months ago when I began planning a trip to Corfu, I looked at many villas for rent and finally decided on Villa Alexia, primarily because of its size and close proximity to the sea. I could not have chosen a better place.
Our group of eight adults consisted of two couples from France and a family from the United States. We had all been vaccinated but with Covid still hanging over our heads, the villa provided enough space for everyone to feel at ease while offering wonderful gathering spots outside......either upstairs on the balcony, by the pool or downstairs at the large table under the trees. Our hosts, Maria and Spiros, were always available to answer any questions and provided us with invaluable information, such as where to get Covid tests before our return home. They even generously offered a cake and champagne for one of the guest's birthday on our first night of arrival.
The villa is equipped with everything one needs. Having three kitchens , one upstairs and two downstairs, is an added plus. We often cooked and it was helpful to take dishes from downstairs to the table by the sea. We could also use the dishwasher in the back apartment when we had too many dishes to carry upstairs.
A couple of practical considerations for those wishing to rent the Villa: Corfu is not flat and there are hills everywhere. Because the villa is built on a hillside, it has many steps. For those with mobility issues (bad knees, for example), the apartment or studio downstairs is an ideal option. The wonderful sea at the doorstep is also a great asset but the shore and seabed are rocky and can be slippery. Some wore Crocs to wade into the sea but they became cumbersome for swimming. It definitely would be helpful to have a pair of water shoes.
An added bonus for animal lovers: a marvelous Tabby that we named Palamaki visited every day and showered us with purr-fect affection.
I can't believe that it has been two weeks since I first arrived at the villa. Our time there was like a dream and we certainly hope to return some day.

A fabulous spot
We really enjoyed our stay at villa Alexia. We loved the ability to swim off the small pebble beach just outside the gate of the house. The water is clear and beautiful. We loved watching the moon from the top terrace at night. The owner is super helpful and responded very quickly to all requests. The only thing I would say it that the top kitchen is really tiny if you plan on cooking for a large group. This also limits the number of people who can have breakfast in the kitchen (2 at most). Nevertheless, there is an outdoor barbecue which we enjoyed, and the outdoor dining table right by it is in a lovely spot. The house is really quirky with its three separate units (it did not bother us). The house’s biggest asset is its location, with its special direct access to the sea, and the outside space.

Peaceful and quiet.
This villa is very unique and situated in a stunning location. We have been to Corfu many times in the last couple of years, and we wanted to visit again and chose this villa for its location and size so that we were able to cerebrate our wedding/honeymoon with our family members.
The owners were very generous and provided a beautiful cake and champagne so that we could toast our marriage. And complimentary transfers to the air port. It was very thoughtful and kind of them.
The villa is split into three apartments, all of them with well stocked kitchens and plenty of clean towels in the bedrooms. Being split like this worked well for us. It gave all of us some privacy, we then all came together to eat on the first floor, the metal balcony area on the first floor was a great place to meet and socialize as a family. We spent one evening watching the most amazing thunder and lighting storm, all very exciting. There are plenty of places around the villa to just sit and relax or read a book.
The pool is a good size for swimming , its location looking over the sea was amazing. The pool was a good size and was used frequently, its a beautiful spot to just sit and get the most amazing views over the sea to Albania. Or just watching the sun come up at day break. One morning I witnessed a whale breaking water out to sea.
Although the local area was somewhat quiet we still found lots to do. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore and to visit Kalami and to Sidari to see the Chanal d' Amour.
We also hired a boat for the day to go fishing and to have lunch in Agios Stefanos. I can highly recommend this place. This was a beautiful traditional Greek harbor. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and a well stocked gift shop to brows for glass/ceramics or olive wood products.
Although the weather could have been better it did not spoil our holiday we did have a fantastic week and really enjoyed our stay at Villa Alexia.
Maria and Spiros are great hosts. Thanks for a great holiday. MB

A wonderfully relaxing holiday
Villa Alexia is in a stunning location with direct access to the sea.
It’s beautifully private and has fantastic views. We loved the various areas to sit for meals, drinks, sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. There are several really lovely tavernas within walking distance and we were able to order groceries online so there’s no need for a car.
It’s nice and clean and the beds are comfy. The main kitchen is a little small for such a large villa but maybe that’s a function of being split in to 3 apartments. But we ate out most nights as we found the tavernas to be good value and the food was delicious.

A splendid family holiday
We decided to have a week's holiday together as a family to mark our 40th wedding anniversary and by good fortune found that we could return to Nissaki having stayed at the adjacent Olive Press some 35 years before when our second child was just 6 months. We were now a generation on with our own three children, two with partners, and four grandchildren. Villa Alexia worked wonderfully well both in the nature of the accommodation provided, its facilities, particularly the pool but also the various different areas of the grounds, and what was, effectively, a private beach. Added to this Nissaki remains thoroughly charming, and is close by. The villa was clean and well supplied. The charming owners took an interest in our stay and were very helpful when we asked for information. A thoroughly worthwhile holiday

Impressive and comfortable
The owners could not have been more helpful. Allowing us to check in early, and finding out we had late departures, telling us we could stay late were two examples of going the extra step.
They also offered free airport transfers and their team kept the flat spotless, the intro to the local shop was very helpful. The property has direct access to the sea and has plenty of outside space, the organisation into three separate spaces makes it easy to accommodate friends as well as family.
Both our minor issues were dealt with immediately. Overall a great place to stay

Beautiful location, spacious house
We stayed at this house for our company teambuilding vacation. Our group had 8 people and one child. The owners communicated well and prepared the house to our needs (separate beds, etc.). House is right on the water, rocky beach so make sure you have/buy swimming shoes. House was in a good condition. It has three separate units (top floor with 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen - one studio with one bedroom on the bottom- one apt. with 2 bedrooms). The main kitchen was a bit small and I also missed a real outside grill area, as it has a small grill (no cooking area/running water) so you have to carry everything from upstairs down. The location is great - a small beach in a 2-min drive (Nissaki) to the right, and bigger beach to the left (Barbati). Cleaning service was available 2-3 times/week (fresh towels, etc.) The house is well taken care of and the owner are super friendly and helpful. We had a blast!

A much improved Villa Alexia And wonderful to have a table and chairs!
We had a lovely week at Villa Alexia
The accommodation is already much improved from last year
It is the perfect spot and the perfect size for a large family
The new walkway to the beach is brilliant
We think that as the tree as been so heavily topped that we need another big umbrella on that part of the terrace
The cleaners did well
But as we informed you there ought to be a place in the kitchen and in the fridge where we can leave surplus provisions for the next people
And the basics of salt and pepper etc would be a great help to everyone
We buy it every year leave it and it disappears!
We are all recommending Villa Alexia to friends with some success to date
We like Vitamins Taverna Agni and Toolas.
Taverna Nicholas is good for a large group of people and represents good value for money
We went back to The White House in Kalami this year and it was good
We hire our boats through Dimitri of Asterios Boats who has recently taken over from his parents
He provides an excellent service
And a very big thank you to Maria and Spiros for the warmest of welcomes and for their welcome pack
The mini bus too was a brilliant service

Beautiful villa, amazing week!!
We were a group of 10, 20-25 year olds who had an amazing week at Villa Alexia!
Maria was an excellent host and the included transfers from the airport made everything very smooth, we were also able to organise food to be delivered which made the first couple of days nice and easy. The villa was plenty big enough for ten of us, the rooms were all a really decent size and there were lots of options for eating outside. The pool was great and cleaned regularly, with more than enough sunloungers and chairs.
The villa is situated a short walk from a couple of really great restaurants, beaches, boat hire and shops. We really enjoyed eating at the nearby Greek restaurant and hiring a boat. It’s great to see the villa from the sea and moor up nearby for a beer/ice cream.
The week flew by and we would love to visit again!

Perfect holiday
Villa Alexia is in a dream location. It is right on the beach so you fall asleep at night listening to the waves but is also very private because the cove is difficult to access unless you are staying at the villa. The outside space is amazing with the elevated outside dining area that was perfect for breakfast, shady spots to relax and a huge amount of space to enjoy the wonderful sunshine. The pool is the best we have experienced in a villa and is long enough to actually swim some lengths.
The villa has everything you need, beds were extremely comfortable, sitting room had lovely big sofas and the rooms have amazing views - we didn't turn the TV on once!
We always stay in Nissaki, the area has great tavernas, a good supermarket and bakery and is lush and green.
Thank you Maria for a wonderful holiday and going the extra mile when we made a couple of requests.

Lovely villa in beautiful quiet setting
We stayed here with a group of 9 (2 families with adult children). It is exceptionally lovely, in a beautiful position with stunning views. There is plenty of space and the villa is well-equipped with a lovely pool. It is in a secluded position right on the beach and there lovely areas to laze around both shaded and for sun worshippers.
It is in a beautiful part of Corfu, with some lovely walks if it is not too hot. Very easy to catch the bus for those who want to explore further afield. We also hired boats to visit some of the coves not reachable by path.
There are several places to eat and shop in walking distance (although this is along a road that was sometimes quite busy) and we did not bother hiring a car. Maria and Spiros are helpful and attentive owners and took care to ensure everything went smoothly.
Highly recommended.

Simply magical.
We've recently returned from our 9 night stay at Villa Alexia, and we still wish we were there. The layout of the Villa was perfect as we were 3 separate families and we could all dine, play and relax together, but each had our own very separate space to retreat to, to calm the children before bed. The setting is better than it looks in the photos. We felt so privileged to be enjoying the Ionian sea right on our doorstep. (Though technically Corfu don't have private beaches, this bay is as good as. No one would set up or swim right by the Villa jetty). The bay was perfect for children to explore safely, watching live hermit crabs, fish and finding all sorts of interesting things in the rock pools. At dusk we even spotted a Beach Martin. The swimming pool was larger than expected, but we simply sectioned off the deeper end with pool noodles so the little ones remembered to stay at the shallow end. We hired a boat from Fontas for the duration of our stay, which we used to lazily access local tavernas - brilliant service. The rest of the time was just spent having fun and relaxing at the villa. I'm sure other reviewers will tell of exciting finds further afield, but we found no need to leave, outside of taverna and odd beach trips. Overall we felt well taken care of - the cleaning service was friendly, yet unobtrusive and the owner was always available via email and text, though we had no reason to contact them. Thank you to the team at Villa Alexia. We would recommend to all that you trust them with your holiday. It was simply magical.

Family vacation
The property was great for a large family vacation including two young families with altogether 7 kids a and one set of grandparents. One large apartment with 3 bedrooms, one smaller apartment with 2 bedrooms and a studio for the grandparents. Each one with at least one bathroom and a kitchen. The pool was much appreciated by the kids, it was even possible to bathe in April, we were very lucky with the weather. Rental car is very advisable. Great location for groups of family and/or friends.
