Lovely property but the area not so much

We booked to stay for one week. We had a warm welcome and brief instructions with landlord. The property was lovely, clean and ok equipped, beautiful garden with seats, fireflies in the night and peaceful neighbourhood with not much light pollution. The area was not so great. Beach is 1 minute walk away but there's too much seaweed on the shore so you can not swim. Before I booked, I enquired about local swimming pools being opened upon our arrival and were reassured there are pools we can use. Arriving late May, all pools were still closed. We were all very disappointed. There are no shops, no bars nor restaurants within walking distance of the house. You need a car to get to these. If one is planning to do day trips and doesn't mind the surroundings the place is of good standard. We left after the first night as this wasn't what we were looking for and believe the advertisement is somewhat deceiving. Nevertheless, despite contacting the owner, I have not hear back.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings

The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. Very close to the beach and a lovely pool bar that serves food too. About 30minute walk in to main town or a short taxi ride.

Logement bien situé en dehors des zones touristiques, le quartier est très paisible.Très bien dans l'ensemble mais quelques points sont a clarifier :La clim est en supplément alors que ce n'est pas indiqué sur la description. (Du moin dans la version française).La piscine n'est pas lié au logement et n'est pas gratuite, il faut payer au moin une consommation mais celle ci au calme et le bar est sympa. La plage est collé à celle ci donc c'est top.

Très bien

La location est très bien. Elle est très propre et charmante. Elle est très bien située pour visiter les sud de l'île. Les propriétaires sont très discrets tout en étant à notre disposition si besoin. Je vous recommande cette location qui a un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Das Objekt stimmte mit den Bildern im Internet überein. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit einer Topp Lage. Man befindet sich direkt am Meer, am Hafen und an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Vor Ort wurde sich sehr schnell um fehlende Dinge gekümmert. Wir würden dieses Objekt nochmal besuchen.

Logement qui mériterait un rafraîchissement

Bien situé par rapport à Kavos (pour ceux qui recherchent une station pas du tout familiale, un genre d'Ibiza). Village de Lefkimi à proximité : charmant avec restaurants et commerces. Piscine toute proche (mais pas accessible pendant la 1ère partie de notre séjour pour cause d'entretien). Plage très proche également mais ce n'est pas une plage entretenue (il y en a d'autres très bien dans les environs). Le logement est propre (passage journalier de la voisine pour vider les poubelles, nettoyage et changement des draps en milieu de semaine). La literie laisse à désirer : on sent les ressorts du matelas. La cuisine aurait besoin d'un coup de neuf : odeur de renfermé dans les armoires et coussins de chaise douteux. Des moustiquaires seraient les bienvenues également. Dommage parce que le logement est situé dans un clos très joli et très calme (les voisins sont charmants) et chaque chambre dispose d'une terrasse de belle taille.

Correspond a l'annonce mais avec des surprises.

Quelques jours avant notre départ nous apprenons par mail que la location possède une climatisation mais pour en bénéficier il faut payer un supplément. En arrivant nous découvrons une très jolie maison correspondant a la description de l'annonce avec une piscine a quelques dizaines de mètres, le problème c'est qu'elle était vide il n'y avait pas d'eau dedans et restera vide jusqu'à notre départ. En suivant un petit chemin qui mène a la plage, nouvelle surprise une grosse épaisseur d'algues séchées recouvre le sable, impossible d'y poser une serviette. Sur une des deux terrasses nous avons vu sur la mer mais il faut bien regarder car la végétation cache quasiment toute la vue. La nuit il était souvent difficile de dormir, malgré les fenêtres fermées a cause des invasions de moustiques chaque soir, nous étions réveillés par les quads, motos, scooteurs et voitures bruyantes car nous étions très proche de la route qui va a Kavos où beaucoup de jeunes se retrouvent pour faire la fête toute la nuit. Enfin pendant notre séjour j'ai envoyé 2 mails au propriétaire concernant la climatisation et la piscine qui sont restés sans réponse. Un point positif a signalé l'accueil et la gentillesse de le dame qui réside sur place. Malgré tout, nous avons passé un super séjour sur l'île car nous avons beaucoup bougé et profité des nombreuses grandes plages de sable avec une eau claire et chaude.
