The main bedroom is located upstairs. Head up the beautiful wooden staircase, complete with built-in lighting to guide your way, and you’ll find a bright and inviting retreat. Large windows offer a glimpse of the water and fill the room with natural light. This spacious suite features a large walk-in wardrobe, a luxurious ensuite with a deep bath, and a comfortable lounge area with a sofa bed and TV. Step out onto the private deck overlooking the garden, complete with outdoor chairs, an umbrella and a coffee table — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a book.
Bedrooms two and three are located downstairs and both feature queen beds. These rooms are serviced by the main bathroom and a separate toilet.
The converted garage provides a great additional sleeping space, featuring a double-down, single-up bunk bed plus a set of single bunks. For a bit of friendly competition, there is also a table tennis table providing fun evening entertainment for guests of all ages.
The home is designed for year-round comfort, with central heating and a fireplace to keep things warm during cooler months. The TV lounge is tucked away in a cosy nook behind the staircase, offering comfortable seating and access through large doors to the outdoor patio. A second lounge with plush couches is ideal for gathering with family and friends, while the dining area sits alongside a well-equipped kitchen featuring all the modern conveniences, including a coffee machine — just bring your favourite beans.
Large bi-fold doors open out to the patio and garden area, creating a fantastic indoor-outdoor flow. With a BBQ and outdoor dining area, it’s the perfect setting for relaxed meals or evening drinks.
Just a short stroll from the property, a nearby walkway leads directly to the beach. Within minutes, you can be swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Cooks Beach or enjoying a seaside picnic with the family.
The laundry includes a washing machine and tumble dryer, neatly tucked away behind sliding doors.

Cooks Beach is a popular holiday spot not too far from Whitianga, with a stunning white sandy beach and sparkling blue water. It's perfect for a morning stroll and swimming. The beach is not patrolled by Surf Lifesavers, so always watch the conditions. With Shakespeare Cliff to the west and the sheltered Purangi Estuary to the east. Take a walk up Shakespeare Cliff; the views are some of the most beautiful you will see. You can also walk down to the beautiful Lonely Bay with its large limestone boulders and white sands; it's a photographer's dream. Cooks Beach itself is perfect for a morning stroll and swimming. You can launch the boat from the Estuary end of the beach, just watch the tides. Cooks Beach has a convenience store and some great eateries. And of course, on the way to Cooks Beach, there are 2 wineries to check out!
Not too far away is Ferry Landing, which has Australasia's oldest stone wall wharf built in 1837; from there, you can catch the passenger ferry to Whitianga.
You are also a short drive away from Hahei, where, when conditions allow, you can walk the track to the world-renowned Cathedral Cove. The walk takes about 40-45 minutes. If you're not up to the walk, you can catch the Water Taxi from Hahei Beach. Also not too far away is Hot Water Beach, where at low tide you can dig a hole and sit in your own little hot pool. Spades can be hired from the local shop.
