Was right outside of north east entrance to Yellowstone we got to enjoy Lamar valley as well as the scenic Beartooth highway before heading over the other areas of Yellowstone, I would recommend staying here beautiful views of mountains and cute little town, the motel was very clean and I felt very comfortable

We had a good stay. We didn't expect luxury in a town of 77 people, but room was large for the two of us and it was clean. Nice guy at the desk with a very friendly old dog. Unfortunately the businesses on the side of the street with most of the restaurants were closed due to a water main leak so options were pretty limited for food, so many of us hung out on the porch outside of our rooms and had a few beers - it was an unexpected group activity. :) We did hear the upstairs guests in the a.m. but not when we were trying to sleep. A good bargain if you are needing a rest before the Beartooth Highway or Yellowstone.

The Motel is located in Cooke City, MT, a small community of a couple hundred people (at most) just outside of the northeast entrance to Yellowstone. All of the accommodations in town are a bit on the rustic side. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with room service, a pool etc., you won't find it in Cooke City. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, well cared for property with polite owners & managers, this motel is the place for you. I've stayed here on numerous occasions, have enjoyed each stay & without any hestiation, will stay there again.

We were very misled by the hotel.com sight for the Mountain View. The room was definitely not worth $300 a night. We were at Alpine Too. Floor was weak in the hall to get to our room. The outside door didn’t close properly. No couch in the living room,it was a very uncomfortable wooden futon. We had a day that we had no water because of sewer line repairs. The doors didn’t shut properly to the room. Back porch was damaged and just had a board placed over it. Our Mountain View was mostly covered by a tree. If you sat on the back porch you could smell the sewage vent from the building directly in front of the porch.

Very clean property on the other side of the Teton pass. The town of Victor is quite small and about 35 minutes from Jackson… We would definitely stay here again though.

Beautiful, rustic inn just outside of Yellowstone. The water pressure in the shower was worth 5 stars alone! And the views stepping out of your room in the morning are gorgeous. Highly recommend!
