Wir waren hier außerhalb der Season im Februar. Wir waren einer der einzigen Gäste. Das Restaurant im Hotel hatte daher geschlossen, Das Hotel ist etwas älter aber trotzdem sehr charmant, die lange fanden wir auch sehr gut und den Blick aufs Meer. Das WLAN ist aber super und sehr schnell und man bekommt sich Strom verteilet :) Es gibt auch einige gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Frühstück einfach aber gut (wir waren fast die einzigen Gäste) Englisch können sie jedoch nicht. Ich würde das Hotel und den Ort weiter empfehlen.

Location and view was good. Room had a kettle and cups yet no coffee or tea, Had to complain and finally was offered some packs. Tennis court was always occupied by non residents and couldn't play. My flight to Malaga was delayed by a few hours meaning I did not arrive until 2am - having called in advance to notify the hotel. I was really grateful that they were able to sort me out without any problems. I liked the hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay here rather than moving to one in Malaga and commuting instead.

Really great hotel in a fairly rural location on the edge of a national park. Tennis court and pool are both really decent, the inclusive breakfast is pretty good and the staff are very friendly.

Competa in September

We stayed in one of the chalets which was well fitted out inside with comfortable twin beds, 2 electric rings in the hob, a fridge and TV. The exterior decor of the chalets is a bit tired and would benefit from some new paint. The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly, the food was good including a good number of choices for the buffet style breakfast. The pool area was very nice with good sunbeds and a view of the coast in the far distance and the white houses on the mountain ridges in between Parking was off street and secured by an electronic gate. A good surrounding area for mountain walking with a lot of walkers evident. The village centre shops, Tapas bars and restaurant are a easy 5 minute walk away.
