It was a great location for visiting MSU but the room itself had damp carpet and sofa. We just avoided that area of the room as we were there only to sleep

The hotel itself is older. That is fine but the condition is very poor. There is a TON of water damage on the walls and floors. The smell is VERY STRONG of mold and mildew. We saw several boxes of deodorizer sitting around to try to mask the smell which made it worse. The morning front desk clerk was amazing. The morning kitchen lady was very kind. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was great. But the above problems with the smell almost made me sick
