The hotel has had a recent makeover with modern floor and wall coverings and was clean and well presented, The room was spacious and well equipped and there was a sitting area with a sofa bed which was nice to have. The hotel was quiet with a Cracker Barrel next door across the car park which was handy for supper. The beds were comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast area was spacious, clean and comfortable and doubled up as a bar area in the evening. There was a good choice of items available for breakfast including some hot things and fresh fruit. I thought the breakfast was excellent.

Arrived to check in and waited 45 minutes before anyone appeared at the front desk. I was given a key to room 610, which was already occupied. The issue was corrected, and I was reassigned to room 620. The floor was sticky and appeared dirty. The door stuck and had to be slammed shut to close properly. The complimentary breakfast did not match the images on the website. Someone three rooms down had the hallway smelling distinctly of weed. I am uncertain whether I would stay here again or recommend this hotel. The only positive aspect is its proximity to a Cracker Barrel.

Old Food found in refrigerator- and a cup of red liquid. Smelled terrible and then found refrigerator was broken- no cooling. Fan in bathroom did not work. There was a crack in the tile from shower spicket to tub and the handle in shower/tub area loose. TV only had 19 channels- compared to other room my niece stayed in. Phone had a short- no volume ability . Mirror that was suppose to be on bathroom door- had been torn off and just a dozen old glue spots there. This room looked like it had a fight in it from missing paint next to TV as well. Very displeased. Had to get ice on another floor to fill our cooler since refrigerator not working. Had to throw out a salad and juice- warm beer!! Will definitely not consider Hyatt in the future. Worst ever. Did tell staff at front desk- aware. Response was not sufficient- like- oh well.

The room is always very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is always a 10/10 the grits is so creamy and never gets stiff really you could just eat them plain, they have a wide variety of hot and cold options and they change daily and the cooks deserve a raise because they cook with soul
