Right off the i95 which is convenient when doing a roadtrip. Area feels safe overall. Be aware that migrants are being housed here (mostly young men) and the hallways reek of pot. Wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night.

Amazing staff and perfect hotel stay :)
This hotel is one of the best suite-style, economy hotels I've ever been too. Very clean and well maintained (I believe the just opened last fall). The amenities (laundry, free breakfast, kitchenette in the room, etc) were impeccable. The bed was SO comfy (very important for someone 7 months pregnant) and the room was quiet. But the real attraction was the staff. They were SO friendly and hospitable (especially Cam) and they made sure I was as comfortable as possible. If my travels ever find me in the Petersburg/Colonial Heights area, I will definitely be staying there.

We always stay at Townplace Suites when we can. This property is right off I-95 and has been open only a few months. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Many, many dining options are nearby. Our location was quiet and comfortable.
