Nice, well-maintained hotel, clean, nice rooms, a friendly staff, all at very fair price. We came down for a Texas A&M football game and the rooms in College Station were so absurdly expensive we opted to make the short drive to Navasota and stay there. About 1/3 the price of the hotels in College Station and only 25 minutes away. Great free breakfast too!

The room itself was quite noisy. Between the air conditioning unit and the dehumidifier in the room along with the fan in the bathroom it was constant noise. We had to dump the water from the dehumidifier which was disgusting because there was mold all inside of it. The hallways and Lobby were extremely warm and humid. The breakfast was okay however the things that were supposed to stay warm were not. The eggs and sausage had to be heated up in the microwave because they were cold. I would comment on the staff but really saw anyone. Woukd not recommend.

Two things kept me from rating the property as excellent: the AC unit in our room and the carpet. The AC unit did not pull the moisture from the air, so it was humid in the room. The carpet was also old and somewhat musty. I don’t regularly walk around hotel rooms without shoes, but I took a few steps barefoot on the carpet and it felt moist (AC problem) and sticky.
