Cozy cottage with two bedrooms (1st with antique queen bed; 2nd with 2 twin beds)1 full bathroom, living room with electric fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area. Additional amenities include washer/dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fans, outdoor side deck with gas grill, leading down to lawn and sandy beach, picnic table and Adirondack chairs, all within steps of the lake. Wake up to gorgeous sunrises and enjoy ithis Mallett's Bay cottage overlooking boats and the marina on beautiful Lake Champlain. Within walking distance of general store, ice cream/snack bar, marine and hardware store and public boat access. Close to drive-in theater, and easy 15 minute drive to Burlington with bike path, award-winning restaurants, and the University of Vermont (college, teaching hospital, and medical center). 1 hour drive to multiple ski resorts. No pets allowed.

Memorial Day bike and kayak weekend
I came with two friends. We were here to bike the Colchester Causeway and do some kayaking. We also visited the Ethan Allen homestead and spent time in Burlington shopping and dining. The house was in the perfect location and was just lovely. It was a mix of quaint eclectic and lake decor. The beds were very comfortable, there was a nice kitchen and dining area and a cosy living room. We were steps away from the dock and kayak launch so there was always the sound of water lapping the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again for another visit.

We stayed here for the second time because I find it so enjoyable. The view is beautiful and it’s only about 15 minutes from UVM. A perfect place for a small group (if you can do stairs). It’s an older cottage with a lot of character; mismatched dishes, small stove/oven, slightly uneven floors, fun knickknacks everywhere, beautiful views of Mallett’s Bay, and lots of windows. Gordon and Beverly are super nice and easy to chat with.

Cozy cottage on Mallets Bay
This was the second time we stayed at this cozy cottage on Mallets Bay. We love the location, close to Burlington, and the view from the cottage is gorgeous! Beverly and Gordon are friendly hosts and responded right away to any questions we had. We will most certainly be back again!

We stayed three nights, visited nearby places, and did a bike ride along the causeway. Very peaceful location with great views. House has everything we needed. Hosts were friendly. The local tavern was also friendly.

Great Landing Spot
This was the perfect location for us to explore the cute towns and leaf peeping around the area. We could easily get to where we wanted to go and got to come to a beautiful view every evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Loon Cottage. The cottage is right on the lake and we so enjoyed sitting down by the beach and watching all the activity. Excellent hosts. Walking distance to market and restaurants. Quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful cottage
Beverly & gordon are very nice people & hosts. The cottage is very clean & comfortable and is in a beautiful area easy access to bike path and they let us keep our bikes in there garage. We definitely would go back. We highly recommend staying at this cottage especially with lake champlain right there and fishing off the dock was very nice. Thank you Beverly & gordon

Peaceful and serene
We loved our stay at the Loon Cottage on Mallets Bay. The cottage was perfect along with its location. They had a dock, so we were able to bring our boat and enjoy the lake. The cottage had everything we needed. Gordon and Bev were great hosts and they have a perfect little slice of paradise.
