Try a differect place if you can...
The bathroom light would not turn off, which was very frustrating. I then kept the bathroom door closed and it became so hot in there that I was sweating after my shower. The blanket/bedspread smelled icky, so I only slept with the sheet on. The pillows were flat. IHop was the only place the gal at the desk said that food was available. Later we found out they had pizza delivery in the area.

Surprisingly modern, clean and great staff. Very impressed. Desk clerk suggested The Bluff in Oakley for Dinner, Great recommendation!

Hot tub was cold. Entry into pool area with key very difficult. No filter tray for coffee maker in room so could not use that. Front desk clerk said “I apologize” no less than 20 times in our interactions.

Must be an older property because the room and bathroom were not in good shape. Walls dented or sagging in corners, bathroom shower was about to fall apart. Low water pressure led me to focuse more on the actual shower head and faucet, they look like they could be replaced. The bedding was clean though and i liked the sitting area. Housekeeping did a great job. The woman who checked me in though was short with her words and didnt really give me much to work with in the friendliness department. As someone who has worked as a hotel manager before smiling and overall friendliness can make a stay memorable to a guest. My stay was memorable but not positively. My way back home I stayed at a different hotel because of this experience. Now for the parking lot. It could be the area or jist the time of year. But the smell and flies were awful. They clung to my car and it was impossible getting my items out and in without flies getting stuck inside.
