Convenient location for entering Yellowstone

Pros: Setting was very peaceful even with road so nearby. Great to have the breakfast available for purchase to take away
Cons: Would be good to have some information about the park. I didn't see any readily available.
Location: Close to east entrance to peak and to Cody. Both offer great activities
I spent a long time searching for a reasonably priced accommodation outside the park. This was the most reasonable I could find and it was still expensive for such a basic and small room. However the setting was nice and we were only staying overnight so it was fine

Thanks on the pros...Cons - the National Park Service refuses to make information available from anyone but themselves. Price is comparative to the rest of the market.
