The room had an off smell. There was dirt behind the night stand. The refrigerator wasn’t too clean along the inside seal. There was a stain on the bed sheet and what looked like a spot of dried blood.

The cottage was not clean. The dishes in the cupboard were dirty and put away that way. I had to wash all the dishes I used before using them. The bed spread was full of stains and had dirty sports. The internet do not work in the cottage. Could it connect to it. All the blinds were broken and had a layer of dust on them. This was not worth the $190 I paid for one night. If it was not 8 pm when I checked in I would have looked for another place to stay.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage (#16), after a 4 hour drive with 2 teens, I just wanted a shower and a clean comfortable bed. The entire unit was FILTHY dirty. There was hair on every pillow( not ours ) duvets on both bed had stains of questionable origin. We had to use Clorox wipes before anyone could shower from mould. There was basic cable on the 1 tv , not a smart tv, just an antique RCA . The dishes were in the cupboards with food still stuck on them. We won’t be staying there again.

The whole place needs a deep clean.All appliances and surfaces need to be cleaned. All windows and light shades . Lots of spiders. Toilet handle broke off , shower and floors need to be cleaned. Beds had stains, crusty spots and they were not changed. But when we let them know they came and mopped and changed the beds and gave us more towels.

I was disappointed with this property. The advertising photo and description show an attractive cottage with a kitchen. I bought groceries so that I could prepare a meal. Instead, we were registered in a bare bones motel room with no cooking facilities. I found the odour of cleaning agents to be overwhelming. There were ashtrays with stale cigarette butts outside the room door, and individuals smoking on a deck adjacent to the office.

Mould in door and back wall and around shower and shower curtain. Stove was filthy, oven was filthy, mouse droppings in cupboard.fridge froze everything, carpet filthy, bar b que and utensils were filthy windows and window sills filthy with dead flies and fly droppings. Window coverings difficult and some didnt work. I have pictures to prove the above. I stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage, do not sure about the rest of the facility.

We stayed for a week and used this as a home base while we toured the south shore. The cottage was showing some wear, towels were worn and dishes were mismatched and only enough for two. This property is in an older area and was consistent with the general area. Staff quickly provided a hair dryer when asked. We often saw deer on the property.
