Great location but no self parking.

Marston ( i think that's his name) was very welcoming and made Check in a breeze. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I seriously had the best sleep I've had in months. I was there for a conference and needed to have my car available. Valet was a bit slow so I'm glad I went down earlier than I needed to. Keep in mind the valet drop is in the rear of the building while GPS takes you to the front. If I'm back in clemson in the future, I'll be sure to stay here

Wonderful hotel, staff, dining and rooms - would go back next time I'm in the area. Hugely convenient for Clemson University. Lacking a gym and elevators were not working during my 4 night stay. Housekeeping services were variable.

The Shepherd is the best and most conveniently located hotel in the heart of Clemson. Parking is valet and an extra charge but appreciate the texting option to have the car waiting. Onsite restaurant is nice but the rooftop patio is amazing with fire pits overlooking the stadium. There’s also a nice onsite bar with its own patio. Easy walk to campus for orientation.
