11.28 to 11.30. 2025 I recently stayed at the Skylark Resort in Lakeport, and overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location right on Clear Lake is beautiful -- the views alone make the stay worth it. The property has a peaceful, laid-back vibe, and it's easy to unwind whether you're by the water, enjoying the pool, or just taking in the scenery. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated the convenience of the on-site amenities and how close everything is to downtown Lakeport all walking distance! There are still a few areas that could be updated or improved, but nothing that took away from the stay. With a little more attention to detail, this place could easily become a top getaway spot. Overall, Skylark Resort is a great option if you're looking for a quiet lakeside escape with beautiful views and a friendly atmosphere. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Skylark Shores is a gorgeous property. The view of the lake from the docks and the yard is fantastic. We were on a road trip and got a flat tire earlier in the day, arrived in the dark after hours and they were very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, but the towels could be nicer. They passed the tissue box test and had 2 boxes! We were out early the next morning but spoke with some people who were there on extended vacations and watched some children fly fishing and catching fish! I would totally make this a stop for a longer amount of time on my next road trip.
