It was clean and just out of town, but also close enough to walk if needed. We were there during Clares Irish Fest. It was amazing.

The property is extremely run down, the pool was green, the exterior definitely shows lack of maintenance,and there was food on the floor in our room from previous guest.

Not the Place for Me!

Considering the price, I would have expected better. First impressions mean a lot and the filthy orange couch in the lobby that I immediately saw upon entry tells the story. A lot of areas were in need of repair and cleaning. Come on! The toilet seat in our bathroom was only attached by one screw and slid right out of place when you sat on it. Even if this had never been reported by previous guests, the cleaning staff had the opportunity to be sure it got fixed. The room and pool towels were skimpy, thin, and old, and the pool area was out of order on one of the days. The pool area was dreary, with minimal lighting and chips in the hot tub paint. Not the place for me.

The stay itself wasnt bad. it was a comfy bed, nice room, and a great distamce to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were alright. the one girl thay checked us in seemed pretty snippy. like she just wanted us out of her face. The pther girl was bubbly until later in the nught when we came down for pool towels. When we were coming back from town and needed somwthing at the desk you could see her eye roll us like we were an inconvenience. I know its just little things but when youre trying to have a romantic get away weekend those little things add up. But overall gopd stay!!

I was not elated about the $100.00 surcharge charged to my credit card for possible services that may be needed after my check out. As far as damages to the room. I do hope $100.00 is reimbursed back to my card for I did no damage to anything. Other than that my stayt was enjoyable.
