Quaint place, steep stairs

This is a family run business and in a typical sicilian style home with lots of steep stairs. Although friendly, we did not get any messages from them because they only sent texts and we had an esim so didn't see any of them. Email messages would have been better so unfortunately there was a mix up in accessing the room. Additionally, hotels.com messaging didnt work either. They did get us access and did tell us about good places to eat. And set us up kindly with a taxi for the next morning to get to the airport. The room was tidy but the towels were worn. The bathroom was nice, the beds were firm and comfortable however, we found the stairs to the top floor were too steep for us and for our luggage. The outside space was also nice with the splash pool and beautiful view of the rock face.

The touch of the small cute pool at the rooftop terrace makes this two bedroom suite very charming, the mix of the antique with very modern touches is beautiful. easy access, quiet area.

We had good communication and a nice greeting. However, the room smelled of sewage and every time we used the sink or the toilet, the smell got worse We could hear the kids in the pool above our head jumping into the pool but luckily that stopped by the time we went to bed. We were only staying one night and we liked the neighborhood. The room was very small, with an awkward bathroom that was all glass and that you had to walk through to get to the patio. Overall not a bad stay but the smell was the problem.

Easy checkin, the town is amazing and the property is beautiful. Very helpful hosts. As feedback there are just a couple awkward things in Room 2! We had the two-bedroom unit with a balcony. The AC is only in one of the rooms, so if they close the door they will be hot. The bathroom is open-air partial walls. Like an airport bathroom wall or so - meaning everyone will see your feet. And hear… everything. And the TV in the main room faces the door - you can’t watch from the bed. Only from the door. The breakfast offerings are great, beds are comfy, the neighborhood of Cinisi is beautiful. The hosts are very nice. Stay here - but you might find a couple of adjustments to make. :)

The room is fair Expedia and the owner (I talk to her in person) offer that this is a Hotel and is not This is an Airbnb with hotel custom name Expedia said HOTEL and sale like that and when you arrive nothing to do with the pictures and what you expected Transportation to Palermo, EXCELLENT round trip, the city need to be clean but the food is magic The Cinisi town, very quiet but safe anytime, good places to eat and buy dessert and water. The only thing I’m not agree with Expedia it’s lie about Hotel for Airbnb or what they call there B&B Need to be careful when you select things in Expedia, I’m a Gold member and not feel good about this reservation Thks

When I arrived at 21:30 there was no one at the hotel to check me in. I received a complicated whatsapp message with poorly translated instructions of where to find the key card on the counter. I found the keycard, but neither the rooms or the cards were labeled. I put the card in the first room I saw, and it opened, so I assumed it was correct and I slept inside. Around 1 am, while I was asleep, someone opened the door to my room, and I was very scared. I was sleeping in my nightgown and told them to close the door, but it was impossible to sleep the rest of the night without fear that someone else could enter my room. There was no way to lock the room from the inside, and as a women traveling alone this is very scary, I put on all my clothes and just laid there until I could leave the next morning. In the morning, when I was leaving, I told the man who worked at the hotel what happened and that I was scared, and he proceeded to yell at me and tell me it was my fault because I had taken the wrong keycard that was meant for someone else. When I tried to explain that the instructions were extremely unclear and that nothing was labeled, he yelled at me even more, to the point where I started crying and left. It was a horrible, aggressive experience on my first day of vacation that made me very sad the whole day.

Good stay

Great hotel and friendly staff. The mattress of the beds are OK. Communication could be better. We had a little problem to communicate when arriving to get the codes and instructions but the host quickly fixed it when we called him. It could be a good idea to send it a fews days before arriving because not all north american travellers have access to phone calls and most do not use WhatsApp. Except of that everything was great. The lady who made the breakfast was really kind and breakfast was good. Air conditionning was working great. The room was renovated and they kept a bit of history (mosaic on the floor and on a wall) wich is great. Thank you.
