Clean, comfortable and perfectly located a short walk from the station. A bit basic and anonymous in terms of decor - from the description and price I was expecting something with a bit more character. Check in was incredibly slow, long queue of people arriving from the Bernina express - definitely room for improvement with one more staff member working at busy times. Breakfast good and easy buffet.

We have stayed previously in St Moritz but after considering all the options (headed by cost and convenience), we decided that Chur was the best location for a revisit via the wonderful Bernina Express, down to Tirano in Sunny Italy and back. We think that popular travel guides somewhat downplay the virtues of Chur, as we found it a wonderful, cheerful, clean and friendly town, with a remarkable history back to mediaeval times. And the station is just so handy for both major tourist express train adventures (we gave the Glacier a miss this time, having done it more recently) and for general connections to wherever.
Looking into accommodation, we thought the Post ticked our boxes, and it certainly did! Restrained in décor but very well and comfortably set up, and our morning breakfasts were excellent. Very highly recommended!

Great location
Pros:The location was very good. It was clean & the bed was very comfortable, although it was 2 singles pushed together. The breakfast was very good.
Cons:No hot drink avaikable in room; cost 2.50 downstairs! when leaving the lift was full of metal trays so had to walk down stairs with bags!
Location:Fantastic little town, really nice to walk around. There is a ride up the mountain in a cable cat which is well worth doing.
Along with a restaurant and a coffee shop/cafe, there's a snack bar/deli on site. Public spaces have free WiFi. Tour/ticket assistance, multilingual staff, and ski storage are also featured at Central Hotel Post. Parking is available for a fee. You'll have access to the health club at a partner property. A complete renovation of Central Hotel Post was completed in December 2016. This 3-star Chur hotel is smoke free.
