Truly had a great time! Definitely worth the peace of mind to go ahead and do the all inclusive but still recommend renting a car to explore local cuisine and the area in general! Would highly recommend as well as return.

Oh wow Divi Carina was, An experience i will never forget. The food ( Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) was fantastic, delicious and worth it. Always felt relaxed and at peace with my stay there. The property was kept up maintenance and the staff whom worked there, They deffidently knew how to make you relaxed and keep you that way, loved the whole experience and the stay, memories i wont forget. If anyones looking for a place, where relaxation is all oj your mind ( not so much going far) just a soak in the sun, have some tasty sips and sigh in relaxation, i would recomend this place for all around by far. Didnt go anywhere just knew after the week was done, i would be thankful for all that resort did to make the stay, so relaxing and peaceful. Try for yourself. Its very nice. One last opinion, if your looking to shop and touring, do it early through the week, get it out of the way. Then get to fun in the sun :)

The rooms were renovated and are sparkling clean and comfortable, however, the common premises need an update (broken outdoor shower, out-of-service elevator, landscaping needs TLC). Some staff were very helpful and friendly (especially the ones at the Ocean Bar and housekeeping), others not so much. As an all-inclusive, the food in the cafeteria was inedible most nights. The Ocean Bar food is very good but eating quesadillas and burgers twice a day is not that appealing. The hotel offered "motel" vibes without the motel prices.

Most of the staff were nice and very helpful.. one person couldn't be bothered with assisting us. The food options were OK, not great, but not bad. The food itself tasted great! The internet wasn't very strong, good enough for email. TV selection was very limited until I signed into my PRIME video account.. Netflix was also an option, but you'd need to log into your own account. Overall, the room was very clean, and the bathroom was updated and very nice. We had to run the hot water for about 15 minutes before it got hot in the shower, but once it did, was very nice. The shampoo and things were WONDERFUL!! I would stay there again, only I would prefer to NOT be all inclusive- mainly because my husband and I don't eat very much and we don't drink alcohol anymore. No microwave in the rooms! There's a small fridge, but a microwave would have been helpful.

We wanted a nice quiet vacation and this offered the quietness … Food choices were ok in the restaurant ..buffet was good at dinner and ok at breakfast - same options daily . Pool offered food but no variety.. same things. The Italian restaurant was opened 3 days a week … food wasn’t fabulous but better than the pool. We ate ate the Italian restaurant the first night and enjoyed calamari and salad as a starter ..when we went aging two nights later because that was the only option - the waitress with the blond braids acted as it it was a sin that we asked for calamari and salad saying the it’s not allowed … really this is an all inclusive with minimal food options …will it really cause an issue to get a few pieces of calamari with our salad ??? Out of the whole trip that was the only downfall … We rested well, pool entertainment was ok with no a lot of activities but we enjoyed meeting people

Property is away from any hustle and bustle, (pro and con)Food selection was limited and not always available, however was delicious. For an American all-inclusive resort its good but lacks compared to those of other countries. You'll have to plan or work for those food and drinks you want, they dont wait or check on you, you go to them for services. Employee were exceptional and polite. Facility is wondeful. Seaweed is an issue they are staying on top of better. Beach is good and useable for its location, if you're there to be active in water you'll want to try other beaches. Facilty and rooms were top notch, however, service for our fridge was never replenished with water in room. 4 bottle for 4 nights. Wanted anything more had to go get it yourself. Food and drink arent available 24hrs as some other all-inclusive resorts. Very little to no entertainment during our stay. Highly recommend renting a car. Feel its wonderful for a short getaway, but a longer stay and youll end up bored. I did overall enjoy our stay and would come back, however, there are better all-inclusive. I dont feel they were short staffed by any means but perhaps just not utilized properly.

Pleasant stay! Staff were excellent and many felt like friends by the time we left. Rooms were very comfortable with the balcony giving us a perfect place to watch the sunrise and enjoy morning coffee. We thought the food was fantastic, and especially enjoyed Tuscany. Wish the coffee shop or breakfast area opened a bit earlier though, as we are very early risers and the in room espresso machine didn't quite satisfy our love of good coffee. Seaweed a not-unexpected issue on the beach but a staff member was out with a beach rake machine each morning. Water shoes are a must as the bottom gets quite rocky about 6 feet out from shore. Will definitely be heading back to Divi CB in the future and this resort made a very positive first experience with the Divi brand.

The beach views were beautiful. The pool was nice and clean. I was happy with the cleanliness of the rooms. The food was good but very limited on choices. Transportation is not good. We had several issues.
