Great apartment, great location!
The apartment is right on the street next to the wonderful river and right around the corner for everything you need! Roomy, all the amenities and privacy too - the apartment takes up all the floors so no one is above or below you. The owner doesn’t speak English which is okay since we don’t speak French and self check instructions were easy and clear in our email. The only glitch was we didn’t realize that all the doors you encounter as you climb 2 sets of stairs belong to the one apartment - kitchen, living and dining in one huge room on one floor and the 2 bedrooms, bath and toilet (4 doors on the next floor up). Once we figured that out all was great! I only had one suggestion to make it perfect - the place needs a big full length mirror - just one mirror is in the bathroom. Parking is right on the street and cheap - we found a spot every afternoon we returned from our adventures. There’s also a huge street market typical of France (fabulous) on Thursdays and on the 3rd Sunday of each month there is a huge flea market in the park just down the street from the apartment. If you don’t mind climbing 2 sets of stairs with your things (and we just count it as a wee workout), the place is wonderful!
