There were good quality items to select from for the breakfast menu. What I really liked was that the coffee was Starbucks and not that cheap Cisco brand stuff that most hotels stick you with. They even had Starbucks coffee in the room with the coffee maker. The view from our balcony was excellent. The staff mentioned to me that every room has a view of the water. The hotel room was very clean efficient The only thing I would mention is to have backup towels. When we use the song the hot tub there were no towels located there so we did have to take the ones from our room. Therefore allowing us to ask for more towels.. another thing we learned after taking a tour of the island that the hotel is excellently located for the pony pinning time frame every year however you need to book your room in January at the absolute earliestif you're interested in being there during the pony pinning. Overall we had a great time even though it was off season We were able to go to one other end of the island for shopping the thrift store was a great place to go and get many deals and then we went to another place sensations where everything in the store was pretty much reduced 50% and 25%. We left with some great deals. We arrived at our stay on October 19th and we went there for our mini honeymoon. Overall our stay was great We went to Zach's seafood house for the first restaurant visit the second restaurant visit was Prime Bill's Steakhouse..

The Waterside Inn is a very clean, friendly place with beautiful views. The staff is great and we really appreciate the breakfast. It’s so nice to not have to get up and drive somewhere.

This is our second mother-daughter stay here. We love the non-chain family vibe, and the staff is very welcoming. We appreciated not having to leave for breakfast. It gave us more time to enjoy the amazing view from our balcony! Will definitely return.

I grew up with the owner’s son and extended family. They are a cornerstone of the Chincoteague community. I loved the hotel and the fact that I got a “real” key! The room had a magnificent view of the Chincoteague channel and I drank my coffee out on the balcony every morning. Room was clean, plenty of amenities, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, table and chairs and sofa. What else could you ask for? Definitely my go to place when I go back home.

Me and my husband stayed 1 night ay the waterside inn for our anniversary.The room was very nice! The view feom the balcony was absolutely amazing! The gym has a jaquzzi tub which i got to enjoy which was very nice! When we woke up sunday morning we went down and fot the complimentary breakfast which was really cool. I got sausage gravy and buiscuits my husband got the sausage gravy buiscuits, ham and eggs. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back and staying again!
