Tranquil Tides by the shores of Chincoteague

At this Chincoteague rental wake up and enjoy your cup of coffee overlooking the sights of Assateague Island from your second story condo. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo has amazing views of the Assateague Lighthouse, waterfowl, and of course: ponies! This waterfront property boasts a floating dock that is great for crabbing, fishing, kayaking, and boating, complete with your own designated boat slip. The condo features three split heating and AC units, two flat screen TVs, DIRECTV, and high speed Wifi with a desk perfect for remote working.



The master bedroom features a queen size bed and flat screen TV. The second bedroom includes a double full bunk with single top and a pull out twin trundle bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, tea kettle, crab steam pot, dishwasher, toaster, oven, microwave, and much more!



There is a bike rack on the property along with multiple charcoal grills. The dock also has a fish cleaning station to prepare your catch of the day. You can find kayak rentals right down the road.

E-Bike battery changing not permitted in the rooms or deck. Batteries may be charged on the boat dock. Electrical outlet under night light.

Linens and soap are NOT provided. Please bring your own sheets, towels, and toiletries.

A lovely and perfect stay but for a significant issue: the HVAC system was not functioning and could not be repaired during our stay. The owner is out of state and doesn't have a reliable local system for resolving problems. He did, however, give us a substantial refund. Luckily the weather was mild and we completed our stay. It's a great location, very well equipped and you may see ponies from the deck!

Check in was easy-all information needed was in the app. (WiFi password, door code) The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked, besides the steamer pot; we ended up buying one at Steve’s Bait and Tackle. (I did reach out to the host to let her know and she responded very quickly)The water pressure in the shower was great. There were 5 adults and one child in our group and we did not run out of hot water for showers. There is on site, shared laundry. It’s coin operated, 1.75 per load. Very nice to have access to for a week stay. There was plenty of seating in the deck, a picnic table, two chairs and two hightop chairs. Perfect area to have coffee, meals or just to look at the beautiful scenery. Bring binoculars to get a better view of the ponies! They seem to graze in the area across from the condo. So cute! The floating dock was perfect for our 24’ center console. There was plenty of water for the boat even at low tide. There was enough room to park the trailer in the condo parking lot. The fish cleaning station was also very convenient. We caught plenty of keeper crabs from the dock so bring some traps. All mini split a/c units worked as they should and kept up with the temperature setting. The only complaint I have, and I wouldn’t even call it a complaint, is that the refrigerator didn’t seem to be very cold. Overall, the condo and the property was perfect for us and met our needs. We would definitely stay again!
