Mostly a good experience. Positives included comfortable accommodations, plenty of modern convenience appliances-wise, nice outdoor view. Negatives included general cleaning is subpar, carpets could either be replaced or eliminated, additional silverware and newer pots and pans needed. Bathrooms not functioning.

Good location for hiking at Crater Lake. The home was accurately depicted on VRBO. It was nice to have the deck and the river in the backyard. Kellie was very responsive, and check-in was super easy. As mentioned in the description, the water smells strongly of sulfur, but the water filter on the kitchen sink worked great. The house is a bit cluttered, and the outside could use a little TLC, but it was a great stay.

Vacation
Rustic is one thing but filthy is another. You could tell someone was living in the house in between renters and did not take the time to clean it. Washer/dryer so filthy that I have to wash them twice before using them. Smear of dirty hands on refrigerator door. No LP for the grill and can't get it. Dusty everywhere. Cobwebs on entry way with people's clothes hanging. Area of the house under construction. One of the Shower curtains moldy. Grass in the yard too tall with trush and hot tub upside down! We've rented other places in the past many times and this is yet the most unsatisfactory one. Will not come back when we go train mountain again

... the lodging was not prepared on many fronts to received guests ...
, I was disappointed to find (these actually were pointed out by my guests) the following:•Propane for BBQ was empty after first day•Outside garage can was overflowing•No dish washing cleaner•No tongues for cooking•Only steel utilities for Teflon pans•No aluminum foil•No Clorox cleaner•No fishing regulation at the house.•No large (soup) spoons in utensil drawer •No dish brush•Downstairs bath fan made horrible noise and would not push any air•Many burnt out light bulbs plus several fixtures without lens (bare bulbs exposed)•BBQ was quite dirty, and grill grate was at end of life•Upper toilet didn't flush correctly – could not do #2 •Lower bathroom sink was very slow draining – trap needs to be cleaned•Some of dishes in cabinet were dirty ... and those in the dishwasher had not been run yet•No garbage bag in Trash bin•Cutting board ignored/dirty – had to bleach the board and run through dishwasher •There was a mildewing rag in closetThis is in addition that one of the rooms was inaccessible (under construction) and the yard had trash (old bbq, hot tub, etc.)/hazards (abandon’s well? ... including the waterfront dock/steps had dryrot and was in disrepair) – see attached photos ... the lodging was not prepared on many fronts to received guests

Great fishing property
Great place to stay and go fishing or go see crater lake. The water does have sulfur in it, but does have a water filter on the sink upstairs. If Looking for a perfect place this is not it.This Place does need a little work but for what we use it for it get the job done just fine for four guys fishing.

Very cozy and peaceful
House is super cute and comfortable. Was advertised as a king bed. But it was a queen. Home was very clean and the river view was amazing. The exterior needs a little tlc on house and yard. But overall very comfortable. Would recommend

A delightful stay
We enjoyed our stay. The river was so nice. Beds were warm and comfy and kuchen had plenty of gathering space! Only downfall is the water smells horrible. We went to dollar general and used water from there. Only thing i wish was mentioned before we got here is that there is no grocery store nearby. Had i been smart enough to do my research i would've known to stop before getting there. Not a big deal, just thought it would be nice if it were mentioned for ppl like me lol. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We ended it by watching a bald eagle flying over us. The nature here is incredible.

Perfect location for seeing Crater Lake
We were visiting Crater Lake at the end of the season. This was a perfect location to stage our visit. We were not thrilled with the local hotel options. This was a perfect setting to explore the area and hang out with friends.
