The hotel is pretty good overall, centrally located, but when we arrived the room was not clean, actually I was surprised on how dirty it was, I am sure the changed the sheets and did not even attempt to clean it.

Paid extra for a room with a view of the lake. They tell us they over booked and moved us to another room and comped us with drink vouchers and neither of us drink. So I paid extra to stare at walls of other buildings. I would never use this hotel again after how they handled things. I didn’t get money back and got vouchers that didn’t get used. I booked in April and still got booted from my room. What’s the point of reserving early through them or any site!

This is an amazing hotel with so much hidden history. The staff was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to assist in any way. Excellent architecture, gorgeous rooms plus it is an authentic representation of the city of Chicago at its best!
