Checkin was quick. Windows in room were very drafty and cold. Heat in the room ran all night and struggled to keep up. Temp never got comfortable to sleep. In the morning when checking out, a woman was yelling and making a scene in the lobby and cursing until finally the police arrived.

Hotel does not offer self parking. We arrived in the evening it was really cold and the drop off area (which is tight) was full of parked cars, when talking to the staff he really was no help in giving us parking option, he said they are valet only. Since I had already been parked in an odd spot on a busy road I just went ahead and did valet. After dropping off our luggages we scanned for our car and it took longer than usual. I'm not upset at the valet workers for I can see that were running cars but it all looked so unorganized. As for our room, it was clean, we had a beautiful view, however 3 of us were checking in and we only had 2 bath towels, 2 wash clothes and 1 hand towel. Felt like the hotel was being stingy. I didnt bother to call down bc by this time we were exhausted. Luckily I packed an extra towel. Hotel also does not have a bar.

The hotel location is great! One suggestion is to repair a little spot of the ceiling in room 3199 which seems to be about to fall down. Other wise the attention and set up of the room was excellent.

The property is in a great location, walking distance to Magnificent Mile and a lot of great tourist attractions. However, it's also located next to a hospital, and there were sirens blaring throughout the night (no exaggeration). Also not quite up to Hilton standards.we are use to...little things like peeling paint in the bathroom and room had an odor.

Elevators took 30-60 minutes every time. We had to walk down and up 16 flights of stairs multiple times due to no elevators. We called one night asking if someone could take our trash out and they said they would send someone right up and no one ever came. Upon checkout we waited 45 minutes for an elevator then ended up walking and waited another 30 minutes for valet to get our car. Only plus was the location and spacious room.

20 Minute Wait for Elevators Every Time

The room was very nice, the breakfast was good daily, and the location was fantastic. The only reason we will not be staying again was the elevators. Every morning we gave up and took the stairs (20 flights of them) down to the mezzanine floor to eat. We would then have to wait the 20 minutes for an elevator to go back up. Every time we used the elevator in the mornings and afternoon we would wait an exceptionally long time. Everyone we talked to had the same frustration.
