Wonderful find.

Great location right in the Gold Coast. Check in was super easy and friendly. Happy hour is a nice social time. Games and gathering in the lobby. Rooms were clean and neat. Shower hot water never gets truly hot - but it was 3 degrees outside so that may have affected it. Great place- will stay again.

Terrific Boutique Hotel

The Claridge House may be my favorite of all the boutique hotels in Chicago. It's warm, welcoming, clean as a whistle. Most of the rooms are on the snug side; I know because I have stayed there eight or ten times. All the better. If you want a nice hotel in the prettiest and most quite warren of downtown Chicago, then chose the Claridge House. Lots of fine restaurants, parks and the lakefront of Chicago within walking distance. Same for the shopping in the Gold Coast.
