Room was comfortable and their grounds were very pleasant and peaceful.The air in the morning smelled of blossoms. Family run business. Only about 20 minutes car ride from downtown Chiang Rai. Easy and very inexpensive GRAB car ride. Free shuttle to the airport also. Had a very relaxing stay.

I love love loved my Rommai Villa stay. The hosts were amazing! My villa and views were so beautiful. The homemade breakfast was very flavorful and made with love. The host offered to and from airport shuttle and a scooter was available for rent during my stay. I will miss Rommai Villa and my hosts, until my next visit. Our Favorite Stay - Paradise

We stayed here for 3 nights and would highly recommend it. The bungalows are lovely, spacious and well equipped. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, a true Thai paradise. All run by a family who are just amazing, from picking us up at the airport to helping us find a private tour guide, great laundry service to the very best suggestions for restaurants and places to visit, the breakfast was outstanding and after a long day of touring they even made us dinner which was served on our patio and outstanding. Great base for exploring Chiang rai ..we ordered Grabs with no problem and they cost a few dollars and were so easy. Our 5 week trip covered 4 countries and many cities - out of all our stays this was our favorite.

One of our best experiences in Chiang Rai. It’s a family owned business. The owners are so nice, and helpful and kind. They take very good care of us during our stay. They helped us booking the massage, and arrange the taxi to a temple. The environment is so nice. We love walking around the garden and smell the osmanthus. The owner is also a great cook. We appreciate having meals in the garden listening to the water In the pond. It’s very nice to bicycle around the pond or to the small dirt road on the left side of the villa. We checked out quite early in the morning. The owner got up before 6 AM to say goodbye to us! Definitely recommended!

We stayed here for 3 nights and would highly recommend. The bungalows are lovely, spacious and well equipped. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, a true Thai paradises. All run by a family who are just amazing, they have excellent suggestions for food and places to visit, the breakfast was outstanding true home cooked Thai food and some of the best we had in Thailand! Great base for exploring Chiang rai province, 20 mins into the city and then easy access into the countryside for day trips - would recommend hiring a car. Overall we had a great stay at Rommai and would recommend to anyone want to explore chiang rai but be a little way out of the main town.

Wonderful guesthouse on the edge of Chiang Rai

Wonderful small guesthouse on the edge of Chiang Rai, relatively close to the airport. Super friendly owners who picked us up from the airport and told us about anything and everything that was going around. This meant we attended the local Buffalo festival, which was fascinating with excellent street food. They organised amazing Thai massages close to the local hot Springs which we reached on their free loan bikes. They recommended a superb restaurant close to the blue temple and the river. Lovely traditional bungalow, which was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and excellent shower. Highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Chiang Rai.

We had an incredible three day stay here after staying in Chiang Rai for four nights. This was a true gift - very Thai style and sweetly old fashioned but with all the mod cons. The family is super wet and kind - we loved Khun Gigi and her little puppy Kai Dow. The breakfasts were delicious - make sure you have the khao Tom in particular as it’s excellent! There are good restaurants close by and we used their bikes to go to local spots. Grab works there so you can use cars too. An outstanding, very Thai experience which we cannot recommend highly enough.

This is a delighted compliment from Piriyasak stayed on 11-12 April 2024. The owners were very accommodating with beautifully kinded heart people that shows through their smiles and action. Blue Hawaii and pineapple for welcome drink was amazing. The place is uniquely private and warm welcome like the place you actually dreaming of or having for your own. A Relaxing Thai Countryside Retreat

Wow! This villa is amazing! It is truly a place out of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of Thailand. The couple who own it are extremely gracious and they did so much to ensure our stay was comfortable. The morning breakfasts are truly a bonus feature and the rooms are exactly how they are protrayed online. We stayed here for five nights and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. After three weeks of touring in Thailand, the Rommai Villa was a welcome retreat. The setting was calm and tranquil. In the daytime the sounds of traffic was replaced by birds and the rippling water of the pond. Then at night there was no loud music or racing vehicles. Instead, we fell to sleep to the sounds of frogs in a nearby field. So, if you want to truly experience what Thailand country life is like, you will want to book a stay here and not for just one night.

the owner and daughter is so friendly and give good hospitality.. the welcome cold coconut is a plus welcoming drink from the hot days. everything was neat and well taken of although the place is a bit far out from city. my partner twisted her leg while going to the pool due to even ground at the field going down the slope to the pond area. but overall , the host put up a good hospitily , they also upgraded us to a better room which is a wise move since the room is not taken.good marketing strategy too. The breakfast is well taken off. overall the host Kon Noi make u a welcome guest.. will give a 10/10 for their hospitality.

The grounds are incredibly gorgeous, the sound of the water is so relaxing at night. The hosts are very kind and helped arrange all the tours and transportation and cook an amazing breakfast. Our favorite villa is Thailand so far. 10/10
