Great hotel, not the most central location but quite peaceful. But as we rented a car the location out of the city center was perfect to go explore as you skip the crazy traffic in the city center Service was great and the free driver to old town is great Personally I think the pool area needs a upgrade or some extra details to make it match the hotels. We stayed in the penthouse suite which was one of the best hotel rooms we ever stayed in Breakfast is a la carte which is a nice touch instead of the usual buffets recommendations from here

The staff was amazing and accommodating. This location is pretty discrete but we ended up loving it because it was easy to get out of for the day. Plus side there’s a 7-11 across the street. The pool was well kept and there’s a restaurant attached. I would recommend including breakfast into your stay.

We had a nice welcome at the reception with the fresh coconut drinks and cake for our honeymoom, the room set up was very nice and cozy. We also loved the al carte breakfast. I stayed in The Chiang Mai Riversid Hotel from 30 Nov to 03 Dec 2025 the hotel is Great Thai Hotel, Highly complementing the staff at this hotel, they are welcoming, sincere, formative, attractive and attentive and helpful. They beyond excellent, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They took great care of us throughout our visit. The service made our experience feel warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great, a lot of food and good variety. Room was great and fantastic. The bed was firm, and the pillows were relatively comfortable. The only comment is that the bathroom was dark and the shower area too small, recommend to install rain fall shower instead of normal shower. If I get the chance to go back to Chiang Mai, I would 100% stay at this hotel again. Well done, team, keep up the good work

Best hotel

This hotel is truly the best choice for your stay! The staff is incredibly welcoming and provides top-notch service, while the cleanliness is impeccable 100% on both. Although the hotel is about 3-4 km from the market, transportation is very affordable with Tuk Tuk and Grab. If we ever return, this will undoubtedly be our first choice. The rooms are well-equipped with a dining table, gas stove, and a TV loaded with applications, plus complimentary water bottles. The view from the room is fantastic, adding to the overall experience. The hotel perfectly blends luxury and boutique-style interiors, making for a comfortable and stylish stay. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here, and you’ll absolutely love it!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. It was a few minutes from downtown but we had the hotel driver take us to several areas in town on our request. He was not only on time but early every day waiting on us. . The staff went out of their way to help with all our needs. My wife’s shoes were severely wet from a Toto the National Park and the staff helped with an extra fan so the she’s would be dry before or our flight in the morning. The rooms and service are well deserving of a five star rating. We left for a five star hotel in Phuket and the Chiang Mia Riverside is head and shoulders above the hotel in Phuket. Thank you Chiang Mia Riverside for such a great experience. We may not be back to Chiang Mia but we will refer our family and friends who plan on visiting.

We LOVE this property! The staff are super friendly and the food is always great! They really do go above and beyond for the cost is amazing! The location is about a 20 min drive out of central old town but we hired a driver all times of the day and night and we were fine! I stayed here alone with my 7 year old and were completely safe! its perfect for couples and is surprisingly quiet! there is a small bar over the road we didnt even realize until a werk after our stay 😂 a 7 /11 is nearby and the apartments have a regular large fridge and microwave fully stocked kitchen. the Big C supermarket is humbly inexpensive with every food but the chef at this property is amazing! I recommend eating at their restaurant and adding the free breakfast option. They have a sister hotel in Old Town with a spa and a travel agency to book any thing you need! May i also recommend the tiger temple Mama Noi Cooking School and of course the Wat tours which are endless! Again perfect for couples and Solo book writing travellers, small groups and well single mom on a cultural tour with her son! Highly recommended to call the hotel if u need a hand with transportation. Advanced english and understanding, Perfect phone service, blackout backup lights, not 24hr reception but 24hr security guard who actually patrols! Perfect internet and phone and very safe. 👌💜

Direkt am Fluss Ping gelegen, allerdings auch ca. 10min Fahrtzeit von der Altstadt entfernt. Dennoch sehr schönes, Thai Hotel, mit super freundlichem und motiviertem Personal. Sicherlich für den flexibleren und mobileren Hotelgast eine perfektes Hotel. Für Erstbesucher von Chiang Mai etwas abseits gelegen. Top war der 711 direkt gegenüber. Overall a pretty good hotel stay in Chiang Mai Pros: Large suite with a kitchenette, very nicely appointed. The service was great! We visited during a very tough period with Thailand starting to have Covid cases again but the staff was very warm and accommodating. Breakfast was served in the room with a very nice setup. Cons: Bathroom was small and had a bad smell. It wasn't anything too bad but it was out of character for the rest of the property. Also breakfast looks nice but it was barely acceptable in taste.

Nice place, We got free upgrade to the larger room for the first and second day, that was amazing. However we need to change the room for the third and the fourth day. The staff told us we need to change the room on the second day. It will be better if they told us when we check in because we didn't expect an upgrade or room change. The rooms both good but the original one we booked only one bathroom so that is inconvenient for four of us. There is no convenient store nearby, the roads are dark, it takes around 15 minutes by taxi to downtown. Quiet but not convenient for tourists. However, I love the design of the room, elegant, clean and large space in common area, staffs are friendly.
