Property is a little tired and the bathroom had a lot of damp patches and mould. However the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again, but only as a stop over.

I was dissapointed with the room. The windowsill was sticky, the shower head did not hold its position, there was some black mould near the bath, The sink and bath drained very slowly. I was suprised there was only two tea bags, no hot chocolate or bottled water - these cost pence not pounds. With all the above in mind, the room was on par with a Travelodge which I could have booked at a considerably lower cost. The bar area is a nice venue.

Room was fantastic, spacious, clean, quiet (apart from a fire alarm but that probably doesn't happen very often) and customer service was exceptional. There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of lovely food choices in the pub attached. I would recommend this hotel.

Only stayed for one night. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room had everything you require tea and coffee etc. Hairdryer TV very clean . We didn't eat in the bar but menu looked very good.

Lovely and central for everything we wanted to do. Good sized room with everything we needed however the rooms REALLY need soundproofing. Could hear next doors normal level conversation word for word! Breakfast was a bit disappointing; our order for cooked breakfast and tea was taken but no cereal offered before it arrived; no continental offered either and the lady serving had disappeared so couldn’t ask for it. Considering this was included in the price and we were off out for the day so ideally wanted a good breakfast to keep us going this was a shame. We have never had this problem at any other Marstons and decided to have breakfast out for the rest of our stay. Evening meals were very good, great service, great staff and very good meal choice.

Room was very spacious, comfortable lighting options, and a generous bed providing a great nights sleep. Wifi quite poor but strong signal meant I could use my phone. I’d stay again.
