Very friendly welcome and rooms were ver clean. The quality of pillows lets the whole place down as tried them but woke up in agony. Bar service was great and overall a great hotel.

Never again!

The carpet reminded me of a bad Wetherspoons, I wish I’d brought my flip flops. Late into the night, other guests were talking loudly in the corridor. The bathroom tiles were cracked and the shower was scolding hot. The pillows were hard as rocks. Did I enjoy the experience? No. Will I be staying here again? No.

This is a good place to stay. It is close to the motorway and also a Harvester restaurant next door. We just found it a little noisy when housekeeping had the laundry delivered at 7am.

It was a clean Room with a comfortable bed a walk in hot shower the receptionist changed our room from 1st floor to ground floor when he saw my wife's condition with arthritis so we had a really pleasant stay thank you.

Great for NE Derbyshire and Peak District Area

As usual the staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel is in a great location for the M1 and the Chesterfield/Sheffield area.

Disappointed!

The room looked a bit tired. Cracked bathroom floor, very slippy floor in shower- no shower mat. Biggest issue was the noise with arguing residents on the same floor. Very noisy, aggressive and abusive to each other. Bed was uncomfortable and the duvet was flimsy. Unlikely to stay here again. Gone downhill since we stayed a few months ago.

It was over Christmas time we stayed 23rd to 27th some noises and bumps late at night. The Staff were very helpful at all times. The kitchen had its problems but the staff held its side up well done.

New floor tiles please!

First room, the toilet did not flush efficiently. We were moved without problem, but the second room had no settee, a small tv, and the bathroom floors tiles had lots of cracks in them. Otherwise, the room was clean, tidy and quiet.
