Excellent hotel.

The front desk was extremely helpful. They go out of the way to help the guest. The location is good, close to the airport. The room is clean and spacious. The toilet and bath room design is great. It is located within the compound of Phoenix Marketcity. It could be difficult to locate at night if this information is not given to the taxi driver. The hotel is not visible from the main road. Taxi is directed to the Basement. Reception is at the fourth floor. It could be a bit disorientating for a guest who is familiar with hotel lobbies and driveways. There is a guest entrance at the ground level though.

最初案内された部屋はトイレが流れず、すぐ別の部屋にチェンジしてもらった。広々とした部屋でデザインも良く満足。アメニティは歯ブラシなし。スタバやバーガーキングなどが入っている近代的なフェニックスモールにつながっており大変便利。空港へのアクセスも夕方のラッシュにもかかわらず25分ほどで到着。

Einfach zu erreichen mit Taxis (Ola/Uber) - man fragt für "Phoenix Mall in Velachery". Was mich nicht gefallen war die Bar - alkoholische Getränke sind sehr teuer.

What I like is that the property is just above the shopping mall . It is accessible to the shopping centre by hotel lift. This property was recommended by a Friend. What I don’t like about this hotel is that 1. The ground level entrance is poorly maintained , mud slipper stains n cob webs on the walls can be found. 2. No air conditioning at the entrance. 3. As we had a late check in around mid night hours , as we enter the hotel reception, lights which were turned off , were turned on . 4. The room we stayed had insufficient lighting ,some of the lights do not work at all. we had to use our handphone light to search for things. 5. We found ourselves sleeping on stained bedsheets in morning. 6. We discovered the toilet showers walls n screen were stained with black moulds and also the staff do not replenish the shower items like body wash and shampoo. 7. The shower ceiling head mounted on the walls were rusty. The adjustable shower mounting which was on concrete slab was broken , so each time u pull out the shower head out of the holder ,the concrete slab falls. 8. In my opinion , this hotel can be rated as 1or 2 star. 9. Contacted the reception office to send vehicle over to fetch us, they claim the driver met with accident n do not hv any vehicle . 10. The breakfast at hotel is a joke. They hardly even have 4 set of buffet trays. No varieties given. End up we had to order using ala carte menu.

Interesting concept but rooms cramped

A very different style of hotel with a space age feel. Unfortunately the rooms are more like space capsules as they are so cramped. Nice bathroom but also quite small. Dining room also small and no bar. Fine for an overnight stay to or from the airport but car from hotel is pricey. Much cheaper to get outside or online. Bed is very comfortable and excellent AC and quiet so a good sleep likely.

受付の方とか対応が大変良かった。日本からのお客さんも多いみたいで、（違う経由でいった）我々一向はいつもの日本人の方と違いますがどうしてですか？というような質問もしてくれました。 インドで一般的？なタクシーの1日レンタルとかがホテルになく、Uberで自前で呼んで遊びに行きましたが、ホテルのある下がショッピングセンターでそこでいいかも。 夜中に停電？があり、ちょっとびっくりしましたが、その程度です。 窓は開けない方がいいです。すぐに蚊が入ってきて刺されましたが、かゆかったです、、、。」

Chennai Design Hotel

A very different hotel with a complete different experience. The the entire place has been built with a lot of creativity in mind. Food is decent though had it only once. Location is prominent. Very ideal for me and at the best price. Whet would be great is to have another entrance to the hotel through the mall.

5 stars and then some!

We had an excellent stay at the design hotel. The rooms are very cool, each one is has its own style, they are very modern and comfortable. The staff are excellent, the night manager was very welcoming when we arrived and ordered us takeaway as we arrived so late and were hungry. The day manager let us see some of the other rooms so we could see the different designs in the rooms and the restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. A very cool hotel and an excellent stay made 5 star by the incredible staff.
