Primrose Lodge is a luxury lodge with hot tub located at Tor Farm, nestled at the base of  Nyland Hill in the rural Somerset countryside, close to Cheddar Gorge. With beautiful countryside views and its secluded spot you can truly feel away from it all. 

Perfect for couples, families and friends wishing to get together in a beautiful rural location. With your own private hot tub and barbeque station to relax and socialise around with the shared seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool adding to your break away.

- Check out 10am except on Sundays when check out is extended to 3pm.
- For group bookings of 5 or more - please ring to discuss before booking online
- We ask that there should be no loud noise be it from voices or music outside after 10pm, so as not to disturb other residents who wish to be quiet. If you are using the hot tub, be aware that noise travels in the still of the night, so please respect other guests who are here for a peaceful break away from it all

Amazing getaway with a beautiful location and lodge

This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful location - far enough away to be quiet and peaceful but not so far away from anything that you felt stranded. Hot tub was amazing and very much appreciated at the end of each day when we had been out walking in Cheddar etc. Bed and facilities were all excellent. I would strongly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a quiet and beautiful break. Highly recommend. x

Booked online, when we arrived we were not disappointed- beautiful lodge, lots of home comforts. Very well equipped to cook if you want. Beds were so comfy, pillows were amazing. Loved using the hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing stay!

We had a lovely relaxing girls weekend at Tor Farm staying in Primrose! Hot tub is always an added bonus! Property was welcoming. We only had a few minor gripes; cobwebs in lots of the rooms, we also could not put up our outdoor parasol as it was infested with flies which unfortunately did at times come into the property. Bags In the bathroom bins would also have been helpful! But overall we had a lovely time and would definitely come again!

Fantastic lodge! Amazing location glorious views

Superior lodge, fitted with modern quality fittings and furnishings. Extremely clean and well equipped with lots of attention to detail. The hot tub was glorious and the privacy of the lodges is very well planned. We would all definitely recommend this property and would love to return.

Beautiful get away

Lodges bit closer than we thought but didt effect our stay, peaceful, relaxing beautiful lodge. Will definatly book again, also had local curry house delivery to the site and Chinese and both were excellent .

We chose to stay here for our 25th wedding anniversary it was absolutely amazing from start to finish the Lodge was lovely and clean & modern set in beautiful rural surroundings lovely walks lots of wildlife to see close to Cheddar Gorge, Wells. Would definitely like to return.

Relaxing luxurious stay

We loved Primrose Lodge, with a beautiful outside area with sun loungers and hot tub, with stunning views. The pool was amazing with a booking system (due to Covid) which worked excellently. We had a bbq one night and also went out to the Ship Inn for dinner. We had a fabulous time and would recommend the lodges to anyone.

Perfect spot for peace and relaxation

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. A beautiful site in the most perfect, peaceful setting. The lodge was top end through out and had everything we needed. The beds so very comfortable with beautiful quality bedding. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather to wind down and relax and make the most of our stay. We could easily of stayed longer! We are planning a return trip in the autumn. We all agreed this was the best lodge and setting we've ever stayed in. Thank you Karen and Ben x

Fantastic Stay

My whole family and I felt so relaxed and enjoyed our whole stay. The views are breath taking and the accommodation is second to none. It has everything you need and the hot tub was amazing. It’s cleaned everyday and always warm. The hosts were very friendly and they nothing was to much trouble.
