Lemmers Paradise #1 on Lake Huron

This wonderful Lake Huron waterfront property is a jewel! It's located on 5 acres with 300 feet of frontage on beautiful Lake Huron, just 5 minutes west of Mackinaw City. You can enjoy the peace and solitude of this lovely property or be in town in 5 minutes for your nightly ice cream cone. It features 2 bedrooms plus a double futon and will accommodate up to 6 guests. The unit is expansive and comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing Northern Michigan vacation. It has a large eat-in kitchen for family gatherings. There are 2 decks, a fire pit, picnic tables and outdoor seating areas for enjoying picnics or sunbathing. The spacious yard overlooks Mackinac Island and the Mackinac Bridge. The view is spectacular! The beach is rocky and we recommend water shoes. This vacation rental is super clean and comfortable and is sure to provide the relaxing family vacation you are looking for. Bring your bikes and canoes/kayaks. There is a 60+ mile bike/hiking trail across the road from the cottage and you can easily launch your canoe or kayak from the waterfront.

The property is shared with 3 other units (VRBO 573800, 609883, 871262) which are also available for rent. Lem's Paradise #2, Million Dollar View and Little Lem's share the property and 330 feet of frontage on Lake Huron. You can rent any of them separately or together if you need extra space for a large family gathering. (There are beds for a total of 18). All dishes, pots and pans, linens, provided.

When you arrive, there is a horseshoe driveway. The owners live on the property in the main house between the 2 driveway entrances. Lem's Paradise #1 and #2 are located in the apartment unit on the right side of the driveway. When facing the building, Lem's #1 is on your far left. The name of the property is displayed near the door on the outside of each unit.

Perfect for families

Great Weekend

We stayed here as a central location to visit Mackinac Island and the eastern UP. The hosts were lovely, and the unit itself was the perfect size for our family of six. We especially appreciated the easy lake access for morning and evening swims as well as the fire pit for a cookout.

This is the perfect location for exploring Michigan! The lake and bridge view are incredible! Hosts are so nice, from bringing us homemade cookies the first day to loaning us bug spray. It took a minute to get used to layout as it is different but after figuring that out the space was great.

Weekend get-away

A trip to Mackinac Island was my Christmas gift to my young nieces and nephews. The venue was clean. The hosts were great, and the access to the lake was perfect! Only 5 minutes from the bridge with a bridge view also from the property shoreline. Would definitely book here again.

Easy place to stay; a few minutes from town. Everything you need for a home base space while touring the area. Rocky beach but great views! We went to a sandy beach for swimming but enjoyed a bonfire and evening relaxing on this beach. Friendly hosts with cookies at arrival.

Everything was great. The hosts were the best. Very personable. Checked to make sure everything was good. Location worked out great. Clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. Peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable stay so close to Mackinaw Island but without the congestion. The property owners were so nice and available if needed. When we arrived, late at night, they were even there to welcome us! With homemade cookies! I will definitely make this an annual summer trip!

Scenic, comfortable, well equipped, amazing!

This rental is an outstanding place for folks who want a well equipped, comfortable, incredibly scenic, convenient and quiet home base. It is situated and easy and quick 5 miles from Mackinaw City. We were greeted immediately by the hostess with a plate of delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven. We had regular contact with the host AMD he was always available for questions or chatting. The gradually sloping yard ends in a spectacular view of Mackinac, Round and Bois Blanc Islands and the Mackinac bridge, and has a fire ring, lawn chairs and a log swing chair. There is a picnic table and grill next to the unit. We loved the place and will absolutely be returning. One of the best rentals I have ever had, and I've done a few dozen.

Girl’s getaway fun

A 5 group girl’s getaway was so much fun! We were close enough to Mackinac City without all the hustle and bustle of downtown. Owners were on site and very helpful - she even made us cookies. They could use more pillows and. the futon isn’t very comfortable but otherwise our stay was great.

Family beach vacation.

We loved our stay! The beach was perfect and the hosts were so nice and even brought us cookies! We had breakfast and dinner on the beach and it was very close to sites. Very quiet on the property. My only complaint is that the doors would not lock from the inside. Our toddlers did not think of opening the doors, but I was scared they would escape and a slide lock or something would def make me feel better at containing escape artist toddlers. Beds were comfy and loved the hose to rinse the sand.
