Very reasonably priced. Very central - near the train station. Staff couldnt do enough for us. The adjoining restaurant was lovely. Very posh and food good- especially as we were in a hurry.
Shower/ loo very clean and swish. Single room warm and you could open the windo. THANK GOD! I hate the major chains who rely on aircon only as it never works all might long and it's noisy and you feel so stuffy in the morning.
Brakfast was fine. I had no complaints and the staff did their upmost to accommodate my....awkward friends. Veil drawn on them, I'm afraid!
Rubbish...do not book this hotel.. there was no one on reception to let me check in... left on the end and booked another hotel.. seeking refund... Do not book!!!.
There was no hot water in the evening or in the morning for a shower, couldn’t find a member of staff to talk to, I was told there would be a full English breakfast available in the morning from 7am, myself and another guess was waiting around from 7.15 and again no member of staff to assist, all round very disappointing
Access to the hotel in normal opening hours difficult, needed to climb back ‘fire stairs’ to enter hotel at midday. Hotel very poor cleanliness. Would not have wanted family to stay there.

Bad stay
On arrival I booked a full English Breakfast so I did not have to worry about food for the day but I did not get this and was promised a refund but still not received.
First day two eggs sausage hash browns toast brought to me cold.
2nd day toast eggs sausage milk out of date had to ask for orange juice fridge locked.
3rd day eggs sausage beans no toast had no bread
Last day warm bread not toasted still white I paid 8 pounds a day for this I said if they sorted this out I would use them again but it hasn’t been I don’t think they have a hygiene certificate to cook breakfast vey disappointed.also bedding towels not changed had to ask on my forth day.
I didn’t stay. We arrived at 3pm and the place was empty. We rang the bell and called the hotel - knocked on doors and despite waiting for an hour, the hotel remained empty with no staff around. We had to ring round other hotels to find alternative accommodation and thankfully managed to find somewhere. At approx 10.40pm, the hotel rang me and asked if I was arriving - I explained our experience and said we would not be staying or paying for our accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel
