Quite shabby in places

I stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago, when I think it was a Premiere Classe. Now it appears to be owned by a much smaller business or an individual - and the quality has gone. I was surprised to see a giant bird cage in reception, with a parrot in it - and all the mess that entails. The room was no better. The hot water was intermittent, which meant the shower kept going hot and cold and so couldn't be used. Plug fittings hanging out from the wall, untreated damp on the walls and overgrown weeds/grass outside the accommodation says the owner/operators don't care much for their guests comfort or safety...

Think twice before booking

This hotel was awful. From the moment you walked into the foyer the place had a smell. The room which was advertised on the door as non smoking smelt otherwise. The foyer was dirty from a large bird cages there and adding to the mess and everything about the exterior of the building told the story. It was in general disrepair. The reception staff had no clue as to our booking and when we left the following morning there was no one to take our key. So be warned.

Disgraceful place

If I could vote zero for this, I would. Never seen such a dump in all my life. Hostel more like. And Nouvelle Classe? New class definitely. One I've never had the mis pleasure to stay in before. In fact, I didn't stay. I took one look at the place and thought what a dump. Got to my room which just confirmed it. More like a prison cell or an army barracks. I wouldn't have risked staying here as it looked like Sangatte Camp for folks waiting to get into the UK. Took my bags back to the car, chucked the key card on the reception counter and cleared off. Reception was more like an illegal gambling den. Don't ever stay here. You have been warned. Hotels.com, get this place off your site immediately. Paid for non-refundable rate too. Was happy to just get out without being robbed. France? More like Iraq. Worst 15 minutes of my month long Europe trip by far.

very practical.

The mattress and bed and duvet all very comfortable. Nice and quiet too as had room on top floor at the back. The towels were old and did not smell clean, seemed like they were just dried. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. Enjoyed watching French TV. Air conditioning worked fine. It was great to picnic out in the garden, nice selection of sunbeds and chairs.

Nouvelle Classe Rue Roland Garros

Very comfortable room with own toilet and shower, although small was exceptionally clean. Only 2 minutes away from a Buffalo Grill restaurant which was fantastic.. Overall a restful stop over.
