You Your Family or Friends and Alumni will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located spot in a vintage style bungalow home built in 1929. Tall ceilings, That go from kitchen flows thru archway to dining room and into the den with , lots of windows throughout house . , Large covered front porch .Brand new stone patio out the back door/ fire pit , garden ,large enclosed privacy fence with screened driveway gate . Pets are welcome to roam(small fee) . Close proximity to UVA hospital , one block to Scott Stadium , also bus stop Trolley to main st downtown and JPJ arena minutes away and everything UVA has to offer. Only Minutes away from Ragged Mountain Reservoir, lake trails , creek trails .O hill Mountain trails six blocks up from house to pull over parking for walking , biking .Everything in and around the University has . For weekly and monthly staythe new front load washer and dryer are available except by request for shorter stays ( basement steps a little steep handrails both side ) - no Hot tub or sauna. The stadiumhill house site on Vrbo when you book The pics are correct and click any pic to show a larger view. .The first floor has untraditional bathroom but can be made private both doors lock shower/toilet side for privacy the foyer is 7ft long and 3.3ft wide , chair size toilet , step up shower ,new stone patio out the back door , fire pit chairs and umbrella, privacy fence and garden area , gate keeps the pets inside .

The proximity to the stadium is fantastic. We had the best time with the Charlottesville Ten Miler. Don’t sleep on wayside fried chicken and make sure to walk down to the Neapolitan pizzeria. Who doesn’t love a house with character?

Older home but comfortable and met our needs. Kitchen had necessities and a few extras (pantry items etc). Laundry in the basement was initially locked and inaccessible but we had a quick response from the owner who then allowed us access. Overall good stay.

This house has a great proximity to the UVA grounds, was clean and pet friendly. The stay was nice but communication with the host was odd. When toilet paper ran out I contacted the host asking where more can be found. The host responded with “What is your problem” then when I responded that we had found extra he said “no one does that, there is plenty of toilet paper”. I found the response unnecessarily aggressive and was uncomfortable.

I was disappointed with the enclosed porch made into a bedroom. The bathroom, and shower for that bedroom was in the hallway going to the outside. That bathroom was very small your head hits the door while on the commode, there was an extension cord running from an outlet on the floor to the back wall to work the exhaust fan. We had to plunge that commode frequently. Everything else was satisfactory

Perfect Spot Close to Wine Country

My partner and I stayed with another couple as we planned to visit a few wineries in the area over the holiday weekend. This property is ideally located close to the downtown area which has a ton of options for dining, but is still also close to the wine region’s best offerings as well. The home is spacious and has nice outdoor areas as well. We enjoyed a meal on the back patio one night by the fire. Thanks for having us!

Inaccurate Description of Property.

We were very disappointed …..the description and photos of this property are misleading … there are only window A\C units and ONE full bath ( the other is a primitive set- up on first floor with a toilet in closet ; tiny sink and an old shower in another closet. The third bedroom is a porch enclosure without windows or closet. Unfortunately, a fuse tripped this no electric on second floor and thus we could not got ready for our event ( plus it was very hot bc no A\C. We had no idea where the fuse box was located ( no key for basement accessible). John responded to our messages but did not come by to fix the situation. I would NOT recommend this property!
