The most perfectly positioned hotel in St Palais Sur Mer with great staff, lovely rooms and great amenities. The garden is an added bonus with very quick and easy access to the beach and bars & restaurants.

St Palais sur mer hotel.

Decent hotel in a Great location for the beach and on the Royan coastal cycle path. Check in was simpke and friendly. Breakfast was high quality continental with superb coffee and pastries. The room was small but well appointed, well maintained and very clean.

Charming, good breakfast, perfect location

The room was charming and clean. Our room was on the -1 floor, which caused a little difficulty. The only way to get fresh air was to open the door to a small patio behind the building, which also served as an emergency exit. Also, the shower drain backed up, causing a flood of the toilette and half of the bedroom. Although the staff was swift and thorough in cleaning up the overflow, they did not offer us any concession for the inconvenience and wetting of some of our luggage. However, they did help us in other matters such as local phone calls and amenities. The continental breakfast there was delightful, with a tasty array of meats, cheeses, and flaky breads and pastries.

Hotel is situated close to the beach and you can walk along coastline into Royan. Staff friendly , good for a short break.

Great hotel with a very good price tag !

Excellent location for the town and beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a good breakfast. Rooms were clean but could have done with a kettle for a cup of tea in the evening! I would certainly stay here again.

Good for a family beach holiday

We were allocated a very small upstairs room on arrival. Would have been OK but cramped. The owner moved us to a downstairs room with access to the terrace when she realised we were travelling with a dog. I would recommend these rooms if they are available. The hotel's position is second to none and is fantastic for access to the beach.

Trop mal isolé

Personne en arrivant à l accueil, et personne ne repondait au téléphone laissé en arrivant. Accueil ok une fois la personne trouvée en cuisine. Chambre trÚs petite avec un lavabo direction dans la chambre, la salle d eau étant trop petite pour l accueillir. L isolation phonique est une catastrophe. J etais a cÎté de la cage d escalier. J ai été réveillé par chaque personne qui descendait à partir de 6h15... Le plancher de la chambre du dessus est pas isolé non plus. Bref, je ne recommande pas cet hÎtel pour cette raison principalement. Ps : petit déjeuner convenable.
